There's only one winner there ;)
Don't know how good it is but these sort of things often have compressors built in and are useful for jump starting etc:

networkn:I'd like a recommendation on a rechargeable pump for blowing up air mattresses, and also sports gear like balls. Would need the standard connections for balls and mattresses.
Does anyone have one they recommend, hopefully not too expensive.

It looks awesome but I have the ozito brand

Downside no apparent fitting for balls, and not a variable pressure option. Pluses, super cheap.

We use something similar to this for air mattresses, inflatable water toys etc, but the one we have is 12VDC only:
Hopeless for inflating balls - not enough pressure. But cheap hand pumps work great for balls. Anything that will pump up a ball or a car tyre will probably be high pressure low volume so not good for large volume low pressure mattresses and water toys.
STOP if he has never been camping before why spend $150, can you not borrow a tent from a friend before you open your wallet? If he hates camping you have just saved yourself some $$
Good on you for wanting to give it a go with him instead to just buying a "Camping simulator' on the iPad. We live in a beautiful country we should be enjoying it more!

Airhawk!
Only seen the ad never used it
I haven't used one either so can't speak to how good or reliable they are, but they look quite compact compared to some others.

Reviews are terrible for it.
