I'm gold elite and have just passed my anniversary date and retained elite status with some rollover points, as follows:

Air New Zealand Flights    571

Other                            327

A total of 898.

In order to retain elite for the following year I need 1,350 points this year, of which 810 must come from Air New Zealand flights.

I can't figure out whether I have to accumulate a further 810 from Air New Zealand flights this year to retain elite, or whether the 571 rollover points count towards to 810.  Does anyone know how this works please?

Also the website says that I need to earn 1,350 points to retain elite next year.  I would have thought the rollover points should have been deducted from the target.

Thanks

Rollover points aren't deducted until your requalification date - because they expire if not used that year.
