Was a pretty decent Southerly last night, I took a quick look at flightradar and spotted that flight - must have taken off then straight into the teeth of it, pilot seems to have diverted east to avoid the worst of it, I grabbed a screenshot of the flight path - if the shortest distance between two points is a straight line etc...
