Hi everyone

For the air nz flight creidt, my travel agent provided me with a 15 number credit reference number.

Does anyone know how to use this credit on the air nz website?

I couldn't find any information online and travel agent is not being helpful, but said other customers have managed to book with air nz using the credit reference.

Thank you.

I'm having sooo many problems trying to use my AirNZ travel credit through Webjet! So much so that I tell anyone I know to never use Webjet!

I wonder if I ring Webjet and ask for this magical code so I can book myself?

https://www.airnewzealand.co.nz/credit-redemption ?

this doesn't work for this 15 number credit reference... so just wondering if others have experience using this.

Did you enter your original booking reference number and surname name first?

Air NZ credit references are your original 7 character PNR ( that will end with an H as all Air NZ PNRs do). Are you sure your credit isn't just with your travel agent?

You're not going to be able to use an Air NZ credit to book with Webjet.

Sorry, I'll rephrase.

Booked AirNZ flights with Webjet, got given credit.
Finding it very hard to use.

Process is you use a Webjet form to enter in credit details, your name and what flight you want by selecting day and approx time you want to leave.

Then they spend sometimes weeks to get back to you, confirming flight details, which generally is more expensive than the day you applied to use credit which really pisses me off. For some reason these credit use confirmation emails keep going to my spam so I keep missing the deadline, and have to start the process all over again.

I would rather Webjet give me the AirNZ code so I can book myself. Even if they take a cut.

I have been trying to book flights in March from wgtn to Akl return for the last few months, now because of the delays the fare has gone from $100 return to almost $300pp. So I have booked through AirNZ the return flight and now hoping to use Webjet credit to just book flight to Akl. But fare I need keeps increasing! (6am flight). Arhhh

I hate Webjet

😭

I guess that's the problem using an OTP. While I don't have anything against WebJet I just don't know why anybody would book with them as there are zero advantages over booking direct with the airline and paying the exact same price.

For me it was the illusion of cheaper fares as you could mix and match between providers (jetstar and AirNZ).

But upon reflection, I should of just purchased direct.

Lesson learned.

15 Char code will be your ticket number, it should start 086...

Website uses PNR (ending in H) but being an Agent booking, Air NZ will want to you manage your credit with them. Original docs from webjet will hopefully have airline reference, airline reloc. Just look for a 6 char code ending in H
