Apologies if this is a known restriction, but wondering if anyone has recently been able to send or receive iMessage images on AirNZ Wifi?

WhatsApp seems to have no issue with photos, and iMessage text-only are fine, it’s just images.

Even reduced image size to <1MB to see if it was a size issue - no dice

it doesn't technically say it doesn't work on the website, it must be a quirk of the system.

Have been able to. Sending messages is fine.
Pretty sure it’s the size of the images - I tend to use WhatsApp for sending images when in plane wifi.

This is why Jesus invented VPNs, to bypass all these dumb limitations.

Second thing I do on the plane Wifi once I have disabled most other users is to turn on a VPN so that these boneheaded rate/traffic limitations are gone
