freitasm:

When you think the GOP couldn't get any worse: Donald Trump Jr and Ivanka Trump among top Republican picks for 2024.

This is going to be a f-ing dynasty. I was worried about Trump getting in again. Now we have to worry about his whole damned family. It really is the end of American democracy. It certainly is the end of the Republican Party.

American Democracy? It was bought and paid for by the rich elite a long time ago.

@Rikkitic Wow, it is not everyday we see the word inchoate used. It's a word that doesn't tumble off most of our tongues!

I'm in admiration😀

$80 million bounty placed on Donald Trumps head

In article also says Iran claims to have the ability to hit White House.

Above one an attempt to Kidnap a British journalist was thwarted.

I wouldn't take the Express as an authority on anything. It is the worst kind of tabloid rag, full of hysterical headlines about World War 3.

That is better only in comparison to the Express. What does the Times, or Independent, or Guardian, or any other reputable news source have to say on the matter? Stupid histrionic shouting about the end of the world is hardly responsible reporting.

Other sources are also reporting the $80 million bounty, but I have to say it doesn't seem likely Iran could hit the White House. Even less likely they would try - that sounds like a move guaranteed to get them a nuke in response with Trump in charge.

I wasn't responding to the bounty. That is just Iranian hyperbole. It was the tabloid World War 3 nonsense.

Quite. I don't see WWIII in the offing just yet either. There are still enough grown-ups at the table to keep a cool head.

I expect there will be isolated bombings, no one owns up to them. Each one appears a random one off, except they keep ocurring

Maybe, but no-one is going to be nuking the White House, unless the Iranians make an offer North Korea can't refuse.
