They're also threatening Haifa and Tel Aviv. Presumably if they're going to attack Israel they'll do it with their most accurate, hardest to shoot down missiles.

Or they are trying to push Israel into a preemptive attack to unite the other Arab Nations. I now wonder how much aid will head to Yemen to close down the shipping routes, after all the Saudis are attacking them.

Frenimies perhaps.

Russia is friends with Syria and is selling weapons to Turkey.

The Straits of Hormuz have suddenly become high risk along with the Persian gulf.

Given how badly the US has treated its "friends" in the area since Trump took over I do not expect to see a lot of support for the US there.

If Israel is within range, so is all of Saudi Arabia and its oil wells.

Things are about to get very very messy , and the western world is not exactly friends with Trump and will not want to be suckered (again) into a war with no justification.

The rule is if Iran attacked an American base there will be an attack back. Untrue. Not even an announcement to his people. I expect his military are saying shut up.

Iran has stated these are proportionate attacks, tit for tat. if any more from the US, it will be all on. US is scared to respond. As they know they will exacerbate internally. So Trump is scared to respond or has been TOLD not to, now he will spend the night working on a tweet that says he is the man. Stopped a war. Well he said 4 days ago that the assassination has stopped a war. In fact it has gone a long way to starting one.

Interested to see the American citizen response. There werecmany rallies against the US attack. Also that Iran went direct, no proxy involved.

The source for this Dubai claim repeated seems to be a tweet from an NBC news employee in Iran with no attribution of any source. I can't find anything else so far. I haven't checked the other claims above.

In general there seems to be a lot of wild unattributed things going round here and there.
