I read a couple of articles describing the reaction of some of the ACT voters, they were getting angry that the word Aotearoa was used, not New Zealand. There were a lot of angry people/quotes it seems.

Even if you yourself are not racist, how does one reconcile the fact that all the racists vote for the person/party that you do?

I just don't think I could be associated in any way to a group that attracts loads of revolting people.

I really really hope the Shane Jones is out of politics come the next results and takes with him, Bridges, Peters, Bennett, Colins, Twyford, Seymour and Swarbrick.

Simon Bridges should shamed, either for glossing over that despicable reference, or for being ignorant of it. Either one disqualifies him from New Zealand politics.

I wouldn't hold much hope for this electoral cycle. A desperate Labour Party sometimes produces good policy (interest free student loans) and I can't see Bridges out-communicating Ardern in a debate.

Frankly I'll be happy if Jones and NZ First end up out of Parliament, regardless of the actual governing party.
