Putin probably has a lot of advice for Iran. Good or bad depends on perspective.

So far its got Putin back into the oil trade, probably at full price which doubles or more the return.
Even Ukraine has been told to ease off on attacking Russian export terminals by orange calamity.

Trump needs Putin who has friendly relationship with IRGC to help him get out of this mess?

Maybe that advice is good or bad depending on perspective.
Putin's perspective, it's really good for him.

gzt: Iraqi Kurdish deputy prime minister says his government is not interested in being Washington's boots in Iran:
And then there's this: https://www.abc.net.au/news/2026-03-13/peshmerga-kurdish-troops-ready-to-attack-iranian-territory/106443186

Near the bottom of the article it is made clear the quotes are from a relatively small group that claims to have up to 1000 fighters near the border. The article also provides anti-conflict views from Kurds. Also near the bottom of the article, it is clear that the president of the Kurdistan Region is instructing it's military that there should be no threat from the Kurdistan Region to Iran or any other country.

Near the top of the article and elsewhere in it the points made in the headline are covered. I'm not sure what your point is.

Stable genius says the war (thats not a war) is effectively over, it was over days ago.

US Central Command said it is carrying out rescue efforts after it lost a military refuelling aircraft in “friendly airspace” in Iraq, while saying neither hostile or friendly fire were to blame. A statement said “rescue efforts are ongoing” after an incident involving two planes, the second of which landed safely.

US military says it has lost a refueling aircraft in Iraq
Al Jazeera English
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v4tyH-8F8lM

KC135 Refueling Aircraft goes down.
Iraq faction supporting Iran says they took it down with a missile.
USA says it was not as a result of enemy action.

Within 20 minutes of National Airlines flight 102 crashing in Afghanistan in 2013, the Taliban had claimed responsibility for shooting it down. In reality, the load had shifted during takeoff, causing the 747-400 to stall and crash. No rockets involved.

However, getting in first is way more important that being correct.

Downed US refueling craft did not carry parachutes:

Sometime around 2008 the incident survival strategy became land or perish. Full details of the incident are not known at this time.

Interesting that all the released US videos I've seen are night time operations.

Even if Iranian air defenses are ..... not good, why risk it, I suppose.

The attack of Kharg Island won't be good for resuming operations and keeping the world supplied with oil.

I presume Trump and his team have thought this through.

I doubt it - they're not very good at thinking.  😐

The comment about the lack of parachutes is a red herring. Yes, they used to carry them but in reality they are less use than a garden hose fighting a full on bush fire.

There is no practical egress point especially wearing a parachute and if you managed to get out of the aircraft in time (highly unlikely) there's a high probability you'd end up hitting part of the aircraft.
