The thing I'm mulling over now is, after the election unseats Trump (a certainty, I'd say), which way the military will move if Trump refuses to vacate the post.

What I meant to say is that I'm sure Trump will lose the election. Removing him from office is something else again, especially if the generals stand behind him.

I don't think "best mortality rate in the world" is hardly a statistic I'd want to be crowing about. But, Trump is a salesman, and he'll try and put a positive spin on almost anything, even if it sucks.

Right, so the guy who shot the Federal Judge home, killing her son is Roy Den Hollander... A lawyer, Trumpist, anti-woman, conservative idiot.

Oh, and he was found dead with a "self-inflicted gunshot".

Yes, no loose threads...

Also, perhaps the "Russia" in his CV is just a coincidence...

Hollander previously had a case with Salas. He wrote racistly about her afterwards, lots of misogyny. Had another judge on an alleged list. Recently diagnosed with terminal cancer. I'd link but - it's all pretty disturbing stuff. The Epstein connection seems to be a coincidence.

 

It could be a coincidence but seeing he was a bigot misogynist Trumper, it could well be a case of "If I am going out might well take someone that is going to be causing trouble to my dear leader."

Or, as you say, could be just an old grudge.

I don't think anyone will know now for sure.

NO WAY will the Joint Chiefs of Staff stand behind him or the Secretary of Defence who is a political appointee. They detest DJT and are not very fond of the SoD either especially not since that church stunt.

Not Trump-related directly, but Epstein and Deutsche Bank cases.

As far as refusing to accept defeat in an election, the Dems never have accepted Hillary's defeat and Trump winning the 2016 election and they have a civil war in America in all but name.  😳

I think you are being simplistic here. "The dems never have accepted Hillary's defeated" probably comes from the fact Hillary actually won the public vote numbers.

Also the "Dems" had no problem handing over power when Obama passed the government to Trump.

The "civil war in America in all but name." is not a consequence of the "Dems never have accepted Hillary's defeat" but a consequence of oppressed minorities, institutional racism, government crumbling during a pandemic and more.
