Another Putin win?  If you're talking about Russiagate - there was no first win, Russiagate is Dem hysteria that drowns out common sense.

That there was Russian interference in the last election has been established beyond a shadow of a doubt for anyone who's not a tinfoil denier. Really it's time you stop polluting this forum with rubbish.

Right, just like there always is interference. Also from Iran and China.
And obviously the USA interferes in loads of countries elections too

I said win, and there is no evidence the interference actually changed the outcome

The point is, Russians spending a few tens of thousands of dollars on Facebook ads showing memes, didn’t actually change the outcome of the election.

You need to stop polluting this forum that Hilary lost because of Russia. That’s just an excuse.

Then why would they do it? For the lulz? On the contrary, the likes of Cambridge Analytica charge a huge fee for their services - because they work.

May I kindly suggest that we all just stop trying to reason with the resident closet Trump defender?

I will say one thing: if I had to decide between an old white man that was VP to an African-American President and a rapist neo-fascist that loves nazis, I would support Bidden all the way. Always.

Going in public saying that both are bad is pretty much the same as Trump saying "There are good people on both sides."

It is indefensible.

I can’t wait for the presidential debates to kick off. Even if the debates have to be held with no audience or a tiny audience, I can’t see Biden or Trump being able to dodge them. Biden only has to show up & not be totally destroyed for it to be positive for his campaign. However, I am really suspicious about his cognitive condition. It’s really problematic that he is only doing tv interviews with prepared scripts & the teleprompter.
There is a huge difference between Biden 2020 & even 10 years ago.

The VP debates between Biden and Palin in 2008, then Biden and Ryan in 2012 were great, he absolutely wiped the floor with them. He helped cement Palin's reputation then showed Ryan as being intellectually shallow with no plans for anything beyond sound bites. If he could capture some of the magic he brought in those debates Trump would be in even more trouble.

But if you take my theory to its conclusion, the jobs of those Trump voters simply aren't going to come back. They might be motivated by the belief that the jobs will come back but what evidence is there that Trump's original policies would have enabled this?

Not comparing Trump to Hitler but comparing the thinking of the times, people still desperately clung to Hitler even with the Russians already in Berlin because to think anything else would have been catastrophic. Admitting that you backed the wrong horse and your world will be destroyed because of this is far harder than the easy option of deluding yourself that you made the right decision.

I still remember when Trump was debating Clinton, she was great but (sadly) it wasn't enough, even though Trump was absolute crap with his answers. A few commentators I see saying that the debates don't make much change to the election outcome, makes me wonder why they bother with the debates then.

Gawd, a debate between two senile geriatrics who can't read their replies off teleprompters? It'd be like sitting in on a discussion in a dementia care facility.

YouTube ‘Vice President Joe Biden Gets Emotional w/ Family Photos’ in this friendly ‘live interview’ with James Corden it clearly shows the reflection of the teleprompter on the glass of a big framed photo Biden holds up. It is at about 1:50. You can see a block of green text and below a block of white on blue text. For Biden to need a teleprompter is really very disturbing. I had problems posting a link but look it up using the full title. The video is about 3:30 in length.

Biden is so old (77) that his choice of running mate becomes very important - that person might well have to step up.

Trump is only 74 but his diet isn't/hasn't been great. OTOH I remember hearing he is the healthiest president, ever - bar none , so I'm sure he'll be around a while.

Biden is too old but Trump is "only 74", despite being just three years younger?

Should have included a sarcasm tag there.

Trump doesn't really (or usually) read off a teleprompter - about 95% of the time (by my reckoning, anyway) he just wings it, which explains most of the stupid crap he says.
