I'm curious if he was actually speaking to anyone, or if he was just standing there being recorded talking to the camera, or were there 15 people in the audience or something?

About 500 Attended Trump’s Mankato, Minnesota "Rally"

Not really the rally size he's used to/likes though. Remember when hundreds of thousands used to attend his rallies? Not anymore. And that can't all be blamed on coronavirus either.

If I was sticking up for the idiot I wouldn't be posting the Idiot-in-chief's speeches that can only put him in a bad light.

The rant about what Biden was going to do to the country was outrageous. And the bit about the dems being left winged fascists...... Where is the straight jacket when you need it?

I can see him going on the attack at the election worse than he normally would. I really hope Joe's up for it.

Edit: Also just found this satire election video from 2016 I hadn't seen before. Ah, the benefits of hindsight: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qg0pO9VG1J8

The Washington Post - Postal Service will prioritize ballots over other mail, postmaster general testifies

today

The embattled head of the U.S. Postal Service, during a Senate hearing on Friday, committed to prioritizing ballot delivery while doubling down on plans to marshal an aggressive overhaul agenda after the November election ...

Several people familiar with the plans, which are still subject to change, told The Washington Post on Thursday that DeJoy wanted to raise package rates; set higher prices for service in Alaska, Hawaii and Puerto Rico; curb discounts for nonprofit groups; require first-class postage on ballots; and lease space in Postal Service facilities to other government agencies and companies. ...

TRUMP SLAMS BIDEN’S PRO-EMPATHY MESSAGE AS OFFENSIVE TO SOCIOPATHS

WASHINGTON (The Borowitz Report)—Branding it “hurtful and insulting,” Donald J. Trump on Friday said that Joe Biden’s pro-empathy speech at the Democratic National Convention was “deeply offensive” to the nation’s sociopaths.

Blasting Biden’s rhetoric, Trump said that the sociopaths with whom he watched the speech found it “alienating and divisive.”

“I was watching with Jared, Stephen Miller, and Mitch McConnell, and when Biden started in on the empathy stuff, we all felt very alone. He said that he wants to be a President for all Americans, but it's obvious he doesn’t include sociopaths.”

Calling Biden “a puppet of compassionate extremists,” he demanded that the former Vice-President apologize to every sociopath in the country.

“Sociopaths have feelings too, y'know. Just not for other people,” he said.

Several articles in the New York Times about "Rage moms"

New York Times: The ‘Rage Moms’ Democrats Are Counting On

As millions of American families face an uncertain start to the school year, the anger of women who find themselves expected to be teacher, caregiver, employee and parent is fueling a political uprising.

President Bill Clinton introduced America to the “soccer mom,” anxiously shuttling her children across swing state suburbs in her minivan. President George W. Bush’s re-election campaign found another cutesy moniker, dubbing those voters worried about terrorism after the attacks of Sept. 11 “security moms.”

President Trump’s handling of the pandemic is generating an entirely different sentiment, one not traditionally bestowed upon female voters or mothers.

“I am a rage mom,” said Senator Patty Murray, the highest-ranking woman in Senate leadership. “Well, a rage nana, at this point, as my granddaughter would say.”

With millions of American families facing an uncertain start to the school year, the struggle for child care, education and economic stability is fueling a political uprising, built on the anger of women who find themselves constantly — and indefinitely — expected to be teacher, caregiver, employee and parent.

As the pandemic roars on, voters across America remain deeply angry and worried about the future. But the vocal outrage from women, in particular, is clear on protest lines and in polling data. Women were more likely than men to report having participated in protests over the past two years, and mothers with children in the home were twice as likely as fathers to report participating in a protest, according to a Kaiser Family Foundation poll from June.

Now, the rage moms are railing in Facebook groups about school shutdowns and in teacher union meetings about reopening without proper protection from the virus. They’re also packing virtual town halls with frustrations about schools, child care and the lack of leadership.

“There’s nobody giving us solutions,” said Kim Lopez, a mother of three in Glendale, Ariz., and part-time financial assistant, who is still unsure what her children’s schooling will look like this year. Ms. Lopez said she never considered herself political until this summer, when she brought her children to a small Black Lives Matter protest in the Phoenix suburbs. “It’s as if they don’t care what happens to families.”

Ms. Lopez is exactly the kind of voter Democrats hope will push them to victory in November, and they are aiming to turn that frustration with government inaction into a vote against Mr. Trump.

The US FDA is deliberately delaying trials of potential vaccines because they're part of a deep state conspiracy to hurt the doofus.

DailyMail UKDonald Trump gets early boost from his convention – to his bank balance! D.C. hotel charges NZD $15,000 a night for suites as supporters descend to be in walking distance of main RNC venue

President Trump's DC hotel has raised prices by nearly 60% for the Republican National Convention next week

The hotel is nearly booked out for the week, with only a handful of rooms open

Standard rooms start at NZD $900 a night and jump to more than NZD $15K for a top suite

Prices on the five-star hotel's website show that immediately before and after the convention, prices are at a much more reasonable NZD $600 per night

Trump's DC International Hotel has long been a hub for Republicans in town

A report from July shows Trump's properties have made more than NZD $26M from his campaign, the RNC and fundraising committees since 2016

Politico: Trump’s prime-time convention plan: A D.C. ballroom and government backdrops

The Andrew W. Mellon Auditorium, an ornate federal building, will serve as a 'central hub' for speeches and staff.

...The Republican convention will spread out across federal properties in, and possibly, around Washington. President Donald Trump and Vice President Mike Pence are expected to deliver their acceptance speeches on federal property — including even the White House — as the Republicans scramble to rework the event following a resurgence of the coronavirus.

The unusual arrangement is already drawing ethical concerns that federal resources will be used for campaign events and that administration officials will violate the law by campaigning for the president on government property. And it’s not lost on Trump critics that the president’s flagship hotel, already a gathering spot for Republicans, will be conveniently located a short walk from the Mellon Auditorium.

“Picking a venue across the street from Trump’s D.C. hotel is no coincidence,” said Rep. Dina Titus (D-Nev.), who chairs the House Transportation and Infrastructure subcommittee with jurisdiction over Trump’s Washington hotel. “The Republican National Committee has privately paid Donald Trump throughout his presidency and it’s sadly no surprise that their largest event would continue that shameful practice.”

And what are they going to be like if he loses.

Reminds me of another clown a few years ago, some religious bloke who told all of America the world was ending....except it didn't happen, then he just shut up after that. If only Trump would do the same...

I presume there is a mechanism for examining White House spending when he looses (I hope) this November - fraud, misappropriation, abuse of Office, nepotism, insider trading. I have a feeling he is going to be spending the remainder of his days in court.

In response to KingDragonFly's above two posts and now the actual RNC. He, DJT, really does not give a S**t who he brings down so long as he makes a buck and can pat himself on the back, preferable at the same time.

The RNC & USRP (GOP) and its elected Representatives and Senators are too chicken-livered to stand up to him and when, post November 3rd, they wake up and find not only have they lost the Presidency and both House's of Congress but that their little anti-government experiment by electing a narcissistic, money grubbing non-politician was an abject failure and it has torn their precious party apart.
