If its an overwhelming push to get Trump out, its hard to see of they can cover that much cheating to bring it back. If it was capable person vs capable peson, Biden vs Trump, Democrats vs Republicans, maybe, but IMHO its only about removing Trump, I just feel that too big a wave to recover from

Here is how Trump can win

Give Trump the 125 electoral votes that are solidly in his camp, centered in the upper Plains states and the South.
Then give him battleground states that have traditionally favored Republicans at the presidential level: Texas (38 electoral votes), Georgia (16), Ohio (18) and Arizona (11). That gets Trump to 208 electoral votes.
No Republican has won the White House in nearly a century without winning Florida, and for Trump to win he needs the Sunshine State -- and its 29 electoral votes -- too. Which gets Trump to 237 total.
And while polls show Iowa (6) and North Carolina (15) quite close, Trump won them both in 2016, so give him the benefit of the doubt there. (The polling in Iowa looks better for Trump than the polling in North Carolina at the moment.) That's 258 electoral votes.
At which point, it would all come down to Pennsylvania, which appears to be the state in the upper Midwest that Trump carried in 2016 where he has the best chance of winning again. (Polling in Pennsylvania give Biden a low -- but steady -- single-digit edge.) Win Pennsylvania and Trump is at 278 electoral votes, and a second term is his.
Yes, the above scenario has a lot of "ifs" in it. And would require Trump to pull the sort of inside straight he did four years ago. But it isn't impossible to imagine it happening -- even if it's far from the likeliest scenario.

Thats quite a few ducks to line up

IMO a large Biden win.

Record numbers voting is bad news for Chump. He's never got above a 40% approval rating and the pandemic response has made him look even more incompetent than usual.

Just watching Biden talking to reporters. He is rambling on and on about black neighbours knowing but not really knowing each other, or something like that, and all kinds of other random stuff that seems pretty unconnected. It is alarming. I really, really, really wish he would just stop talking. I hope everyone has already voted.

Here's a snapshot of how some of the religious right think. Read the comments. YouTube is full of people who think just like these ones do.

Saw that too just now, doesnt matter, he's never been a fluent speaker. If he became a lack luster POTUS thats ok, the issue is Trump out not Biden in. Trump doenst rate any score as POTUIS thats the problem, he is a destroyer

Rikkitic: When one party fights clean, and the other fights dirty, the one fighting dirty has the advantage. If the past four years have shown nothing else, they have shown this.

In general, the Republicans are focused, but have few moral principle.

Case in point: they've wanted to turn the Supreme Court conservative for decades, and succeeded.

The Democrats have a bit of morals, but sometimes express their beliefs overtly and make it an important part of their public life. While admirable to be moral, throwing the election to conservatives is not.

Case in point: Dems saying some looting is OK and there's literally 15 genders.

If dems want to change the world, they need to be in power, and scaring away middle America voters is not a great idea.

The Washington Post - MAGA promotion at Tulsa marijuana dispensary backfires

today

TULSA - Dr. Z Leaf, a medical cannabis franchise here owned by optometrist Robert Zoellner, offered an Election Day promotion that has bombed among many Tulsans and scared employees.

The promotion, circulated widely on social media, promised discounts to customers who came to the dispensary wearing Make American Great Again or other Trump gear.

But employees said that not a single customer showed up with such paraphernalia. “In fact, we’ve gotten more complaints about it than anything,” said one staff member ...

Three employees said they disapproved of the promotion, and the blowback among residents was causing them emotional distress. ...

The Washington Post - GOP Vermont governor votes for Biden

today

Gov. Phil Scott (R-Vt.) told reporters after he cast his ballot that he voted for Biden, becoming the first incumbent Republican governor to publicly reveal a vote for the Democratic candidate.

A Trump critic, Scott had said previously he wouldn’t vote for the president, but it was unclear if he would write in another name, like other anti-Trump Republican officials have done.

It’s been a bit of a struggle for me, but I ended up voting for Joe Biden,” he told reporters ...

The Washington Post - A ‘non-masked voting’ tent collapsed in N.H., wounding one

today

BEDFORD, N.H. - A “non-masked voting” tent in New Hampshire collapsed around midday Tuesday, sending a 72-year-old poll worker to the hospital and forcing election officials to find another option for voters who preferred to cast ballots while not wearing a mask.

The incident happened in the town of Bedford, an upscale community carried by Trump in 2016, Mitt Romney in 2012 and John McCain in 2008.

Non-masked voters went into the heavy-duty tent set up outside the town’s polling place, Bedford High School, rather than voting with thousands of others inside the gymnasium. ...

And so we move the Overton window to the right. Why is it always the left who must compromise to appeal to a strawman middle voter?

I don't often see leftists campaigning for the right to do the same.

Misinformation at work - how to influence an election result

  • robocalls tell millions to stay at home and stay safe
