Batman: i wonder if there is a webpage with the MOST up to date tally ... everywhere i look so far NYT has the most up to date but is there is better one

Given Trump's litigious and confrontational attitude, I expect everyone (but Fox) to be doubly careful about announcing results.

CNN got stung in 2000 for releasing results too early, with lots of confusion and court appeals.

Here's an article about it.

Bush vs Gore

This is starting to look to me like the worst of all possible results - a dead heat, or close to it. Look forward to years of litigation and gun battles.

I do feel sorry for the people stuck in all this, but man, this is going to be more fun to watch, from a safe distance, than Game of Thrones, The Mandalorian, and the Sopranos combined.

What makes you think the tsunami won't reach this far?

CNN is good.  I really should be working ...

Please tell John King to say "run it up" a tad less

I meant the website not the TV channel.

I actually think if Trump loses, he'll go out quietly.  He talks a big game, but is light on action.

There may be public disorder.  That would be analogous to when he got elected - with a different group yelling not my president about a different president-elect.

After four years of advance warning I would hope the rest of the world has isolated itself as much as possible from events in the US.

The margin was 9.2% in 2016. Recent poll averages (RCP) gave Trump a 1.4% advantage.

Florida is more interesting, poll averages gave Biden about 1% - and that's clearly not happened.

Michigan also looks bad for Biden, but low count so far.

Four more years

Looks likely.

Dems have flipped one senate seat, reps have flipped one, looks like dems will flip one more. - not enough.
Looks like Dems have flipped Arizona.  11 Electoral votes - not enough.

At least he will only get 4 and that will be it, unless he tries to change things. Hope his son isn't then going to stand. Some people in the US must be very disillusioned .

I just can't believe they didn't put someone stronger up against Trump. Although Biden is quite old, he looks frail, and would doubt he would do 2 terms. Hillary had too much baggage and wasn't that likable and they would have had to break the glass ceiling, even though she did get more votes than Trump.  Biden is more likable, but frail, and makes a lot of gaffs. Michelle Obama would have been good, and has her husbands personality, but there is the glass ceiling they would need to break.

Fingers crossed for a change.

Meanwhile on Worldometers

USA 'yesterday':        94,463 new cases & 1,199 deaths
Same day last week:  75,072 new cases & 1,039 deaths (& 3 days later 101,461 cases)

So an increase of almost 20k in a week.   110k+ mark in the next few days?
