An election I watched was a snoozer
A perfect excuse for a boozer
The votes trickled in
Not such a huge win
But Trump was a very big loser.

I read somewhere (CNN?) that judges have thrown out most of Trump's legal challenges to the counting so far, as when they ask him on what grounds he is challenging the count, his crowd can't actually show any proof of fraud.

He's just a sore loser.

Yep.  A couple of pages back.  One of his lawyers defending him against fraud charges he's out on bail for has dropped him as a client.

The president's son is has been making calls for "total war" and the President is claiming he's won despite the fact he hasn't - and is repeatedly calling legitimate votes against him "illegal".

Remember the time when we were warning about Trump having fascist tendencies, and people claiming to be "centrists" were accusing us of being alarmist?

Hopefully he's too incompetent to launch a coup.

I'm not worried about Trump launching a coup. Some of the fanatics enabling him are another matter. So far there have been no instances of serious violence that I am aware of, but the streets have been filling with people milling around and making rumbling sounds. Things could blow when Biden is declared. I hope they don't.

Its a given, and a right to explore all avenues. If and when they fail, he still won't concede, thats the point.

 

He doesn't have to concede - that's just a formality not a legal obligation.  If he loses, he'll simply no longer be POTUS and Commander in Chief on 20 Jan, and if he refuses to leave the WH, he'll be forcibly removed.
