Fred99:

dafman: Did the US just vote out after a single term the greatest President ever (with exception of, maybe, Abraham Lincoln)?

God issued a recall on the gift he'd given to evangelicals.

No, contrary to what the world thinks, their god is not a white man, he's of west asian heritage. Kamala Harris is the natural pick. In fact churches all over Black America and the rest of the world are happy (a few pastors as my neighbours).

Cheetos.

Sunset Yellow (110)
Synthetic Dye derived from Petroleum
It has been blamed for hyperactivity, skin rashes and swelling, diarroea and vomiting.

75 Days till 20th January, with USA ticking well over 100K cases a day, over 1000 deaths a day again with Dr Atlas in charge.
How you turn the tide on that, with key enablers of Trump still powerful in senate, then individual states hell bent on their own thing.

Trump will be very obstructive. Probably do what he can to make it difficult. GOP won't stand up to him, although they might, Trump fever has disappeared from many of his media friends, more might revolt.

Biden can use the media to get the people wearing masks and distancing, that's what's needed, virus wise. While Trump bangs heads, Biden can still run his role

Biden's Pa lead is now 0.6% and remaining votes are heavily Dem.

That's another door closed for Trump, state electoral law does require a recount if the lead is <0.5%.

As I understand it, the Pa Electoral Commission rules were set up by Republicans.  They rejected opening early mail vote envelopes prior to the close of polls, hence how slow the results were coming through.  They could have had the envelopes open, voter signature manually verified with registration records - then ready to count in machines at the close of polling.  You'd never "prove" that they did this to deliberately slow the count - in the hope that mail votes would be rejected as Trump has been consistently pushing for, but it has the smell of dirty rat about it.

You can tell what a normal, boring President Joe is going to be.

No one has started a President of the USA: Joe Biden thread.

It's beautiful:

(there's a back-story to Trump's use of "YMCA" as a campaign song - without asking for rights to use it.  There was talk of him being sued.  However he was granted rights to use it - for free - by the founder of Village People - who stated that "he didn't like to kick people when they're down", and that he'd voted for Joe Biden. )
