Many people are celebrating Biden's win and rightly so but they would be wise to remember Mark Twain's quote.

'If voting made any difference they wouldn't let us do it'

On one hand Trump didn't have enough attention span to finish his breakfast and even many of his supporters say he's not a great person. Unless Biden and Harris pull some rabbits out of the hat it's going to be business as usual saying nice things and doing not much. Increasing Medicare eligibility five years to cover 60 and up like they have promised and funding it as they have designed will be a good start tho. Hope they go further in many areas.

Batman:

No, contrary to what the world thinks, their god is not a white man, he's of west asian heritage. Kamala Harris is the natural pick. In fact churches all over Black America and the rest of the world are happy (a few pastors as my neighbours).

It's these so-called "Christians":

White evangelical and born-again Christian voters voted for the president 76 percent to 23 percent, The New York Times reported on Tuesday. However, the margin was down slightly from 2016, when exit polling indicated white evangelicals voted for Trump by a margin of 81 percent to 16 percent.

As much as I admire Samuel Clemens' great wisdom and way with words, If he'd been reading social media on this beautiful morning, I'm confident he'd be just as ecstatic as all correct-thinking and freedom-loving individuals on the planet:

No, just smart business sense. The media are not there to serve the public they exist for ratings and to make money.

If it was just what I bolded, its a huge turnaround.

They are still celebrating. World leaders are celebrating. Media say this hasn't been seen for decades. Why?? Is Biden like the saviour? No. Trump is out, goodbye to what they and the globe has endured in just 4 short years. This is an anti Trump celebration, that shows the despair he gave.

You can tell what a normal, boring President Joe is going to be.

No one has started a President of the USA: Joe Biden thread.

You are right though, I am going to miss all the stupid president tweets and the general side show he produces.

I consider myself quite a neutral observer. I've followed a few news outlet inc Fox, some of my friends are Trump supporters though i despise his lying narcissistic ways.

From what I observe in fox most of their people are not Trumpists. Republican yes, and as I've mentioned earlier it's due to their Conservative views but most of their news are actually less biased than CNN, apart from a few guys - these guys are more extreme than CNN and give Fox a terrible reputation.

I think we are seeing a relief from the non Trumpists in Fox that they can finally be set free from him.

Speech on shortly, I hope Joe takes the high road, no need to talk about Trump, just say I hope to hear from him in due course then talk about anything else. Trump is yesterday's news now.

Sorta agree.

Ive watched CNN and Fox. CNN is Dem biased, but IMO they are balanced, they dont make fun of Trump, they are factual, and they often have GOP interviewees. In fact Cooper was interviewing someone today, that someone said a funny but tacky comment about Trump. Cooper didn't flinch. It deserved a laugh but it was actually inappropriate. Fox is biased as well, but more hardcore by far, they interview more hardcore also. Tacky, its a TV show. But yes, Ive seen the change and this was well before Biden was called as the winner. Last couple of days Fox has been weaning itself off Trump. Trump will taint them from now on, so he has been offloaded.

As someone who has tossed so many under the bus, it is pathetically amusing to see how incapable Trump is of recognising when it is happening to him.

Sounds like Trump has lost interest already. He played golf today.
