Yesterday (apologies to the Beatles)

Yesterday all my losses seemed so far away
every game of golf I tried to play
Oh I believe in yesterday

Suddenly, I did not make it to the presidency
There's a shadow hanging over me.
Oh, yesterday came suddenly.

Why he had to win
And got in he wouldn’t say
I did something bad
I’m so sad for yesterday

Yesterday golf was such an easy game to play
Now I need a place to hide away
The lawsuits all want me to pay

I’m in such a daze
grifting ways are losing out
I just tweet to cheat
but defeat I have no doubt

Yesterday I won and won and winning could not fail
Now I bleat and tweet and loudly wail
Oh how can I stay out of jail?

Plesse igmore amd axxept applogies in adbance fir anu typos

More hard "evidence!"

Ok I feel a bit better about their lawsuits ...

Edit - comes back to type more -

But but ... don't you want to see these people show up to the supreme court judges? I miss watching Judge Judy ... I mean ... there's not much to watch on TV nowadays ... it could be an Amazon Prime series?

He's still a great cartoonist. It doesn't make him a great person and never did.

I can separate his art from his personality just as I can enjoy Kevin Spacey or Harvey Weinsteins films while finding their personal behaviour abhorrent.

I dunno, I beg to differ. I find the newest Dilbert cartoons are not really as amusing as they used to be. The classic ones are still quite funny though.

If people have no issue like you're describing then (Kevin Spacey, etc) how come Scott Adams doesn't get hired as a public speaker anymore?

I'm not everyone and your taste probably isn't the same as mine. Do what you want, I don't believe Dilbert is mandatory:)

People with strong political views don't tend to get booked as speakers.

The point is that any number of people who are great at something are also horrible people. I can look at something amazing done by a horrible person and still consider it great. It doesn't mean I support their views or actions.YMMV

For sure, but as I said previously, he has even said this himself (per Wikipedia):

Adams states that being labelled a 'Donald Trump apologist' ended his public speaking career and reduced his income by about 40%.

I know that before he started bleating on about how great Trump was, he was actually a fairly popular public speaker and was in reasonably high demand.

Maybe it'd be better if artists left expressing their "political" views to showing it in their work.

The world might have been a better place if one notorious despot hadn't been rejected twice by art school, and another had stuck to reality TV.

This tweet is a hoax, created by entertainer Nick Lutsko.

It's pretty obvious that's it's a joke, however it got retweated and treated as a true news.

You can smell's the GOP's desperation. Be careful what you wish for.

Texas Tribune: There’s no evidence of widespread voter fraud, but Dan Patrick is encouraging people to report it with up to a $1 million reward

The Texas Republican lieutenant governor's crusade for proof of election problems in Texas comes as members of his own party dominated up and down the ballot.

Texas Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick said Tuesday he is offering up to $1 million to "incentivize, encourage and reward" people for reports of voter fraud in Texas, even as there's been no evidence of mass voter fraud and experts say it's rare.

The Republican state leader's crusade for proof of election problems in Texas comes as members of his own party dominated up and down the ballot.

Patrick said that anyone who provides information that leads to a conviction will receive at least $25,000. The money will come from Patrick’s campaign fund, according to spokesperson Sherry Sylvester....

The New York Times - Biden flips Arizona, further cementing his presidential victory.

breaking

President-elect Joseph R. Biden Jr. has narrowly won Arizona, capturing the state’s 11 electoral votes and strengthening his Electoral College margin as President Trump continues to make baseless attacks on the vote counts favoring Mr. Biden.

Mr. Biden, whose margin in Arizona is currently about 11,000 votes, or 0.3 percentage points, is the first Democratic presidential candidate to carry the state since President Bill Clinton in 1996. ...

Mr. Biden’s win underscored a profound political shift in Arizona, a longtime Republican bastion that has lurched left in recent years, fueled by rapidly evolving demographics and a growing contingent of young Hispanic voters championing liberal policies. ...

English translation of neb's posted video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MeHNHCnBMsE

It doesn't really capture the spirit of the thing though. What makes the original so funny is that it's done in the Swabian dialect, not actual German. Any normal dubbing will be into German, so hearing it in dialect is very odd. An equivalent for English might be:

Also the artist, dodokay, is good at making the dialect form match the lip movements of the original so unless you're watching closely it looks like that's the original dialogue. Another sample:

which is Obama chairing a meeting of the householders association of 48 Wilhelm Street and complaining about people leaving muddy bicycles in the lobby.

Because as far as you know, I'm a gorilla in a devil suit that got access to Nurse Ratched's PC at the asylum.
