The Washington Post - Biden widens electoral vote lead over Trump

EDIT: Biden has won exactly as many electoral votes as President Trump won in 2016.

Trump's apparently going to come out of his bunker (the WH - or golf course) to hold a press conference about "Operation Warp Speed".
My guess is this is possibly going to be a train wreck of lies and conspiracy theory about how Pfizer colluded with "the radical left" to try to steal the election, which he claims he's won anyway. Possibly he'll say he's going to approve the vaccine for use by executive order - overriding FDA, Pfizer really has no ethical choice but to reject that, Trump will use it to "prove" how Pfizer are politically biased against him. Then he'll claim ownership of the vaccine because of "Operation Warp Speed" despite the fact that Pfizer didn't take funding for development, just the standard guarantee that if approved, they'd commit to buying (ie same as NZ's commitment to buy approved vaccines - which is not the same as putting cash up front for R&D)
He's going to have to stay on script from a teleprompter and refuse to answer questions from the press.

The Washington Post - More than 130 Secret Service officers are said to be infected with coronavirus or quarantining in wake of Trump’s campaign travel
today
More than 130 Secret Service officers who help protect the White House and the president when he travels have recently been ordered to isolate or quarantine because they tested positive for the coronavirus or had close contact with infected co-workers, according to three people familiar with agency staffing.
The spread of the coronavirus - which has sidelined roughly 10 percent of the agency’s core security team - is believed to be partly linked to a series of campaign rallies that President Trump held in the weeks before the Nov. 3 election ...
The outbreak comes as coronavirus cases have been rapidly rising across the nation, with more than 152,000 new cases reported Thursday. ...

Every president has a library name after them by law, and it exhibits everything they've said and done no matter how embarrassing.
Either you didn't visit the link or didn't understand the parody. Either way, thanks for the unnecessary unexplanation.

"The fastest approval, nobody believes."
"Distribution is coming pretty soon."
"Not sending to New York because for political reason Cuomo doesn't want the vaccine until it's proven safe."
He then started rambling and a couple of TV networks just cut him half through it.

Could they even find a building big enough to store all of Trump's lies, embarrassing moments and everything else he's done?
First and only press conference so far, 10 days after losing the election, and all the doofus wants to talk about is covid, covid, covid.
No questions from the press - walk away. Well there was one question I heard as he shuffled back into the bunker - “When will you admit you lost the election SIR?”
160,000 cases per day, 7 day moving average death rate now >1,000/day and heading up, 250,000 dead, at months away from rollout of a vaccine.
Jury selection in NY for Trump & family criminal trials will be a lot of fun.

BBC News - New York 'ready to sue' if Trump delays Covid-19 vaccine
breaking
The attorney general of New York, Letitia James, has said she is ready to sue the Trump administration if the state does not receive an approved Covid-19 vaccine along with the rest of the country.
Speaking earlier today, Trump had said that vaccines would be available throughout the US with the exception of New York, alleging that this was because Governor Andrew Cuomo, a Democrat, was delaying the delivery. ...
James criticised Trump's comments.
"This is nothing more than vindictive behavior by a lame-duck president trying to extract [sic] vengeance on those who oppose his politics," she said. ...

The New York Times - Opinion - The Post-Presidency of a Con Man
today
It’s hard to tell whether Donald Trump is attempting a coup or throwing a tantrum.
Crying voter fraud, his administration has refused to begin a presidential transition despite his decisive electoral defeat. ...
But there’s cause for comfort, of a sort, in signs that the president is preparing for life outside the White House in exactly the way one would expect - by initiating new grifts.
Trump has been sending out frantic fund-raising requests to “defend the election,” but as The New York Times reports, most of the money is actually going to a PAC, Save America, that “will be used to underwrite Mr. Trump’s post-presidential activities.”
Axios reports that Trump is considering starting a digital media company to undermine Fox News, which he now regards as disloyal.
These moves suggest that while Trump may be willing to torch American democracy to salve his wounded ego, at least part of him is getting ready to leave office. ...

If he was to get 70 million viewers though, I'd be stunned. Even Fox News doesn't get that much - not even 10% of that amount.
Remember that 70 million voted for him officially, but how many of those love him so voted him, and how many voted Republican as always so they had to vote for him?
