quickymart: I might need a little help here. Some guy on FB (who I don't know overly well but we have some mutual friends in common) is really sad Trump lost. He says "Joe Biden has done nothing in 47 years" in Government, and directed me to here when I asked him what Trump had done in 4:

I have met many Trump supporters. There is no point arguing with them using logic and reason. Every minute you engage them shortens your life by half an hour and at the end of it all you feel worse and they feel better. Waste of time.

One of my other friends (who voted for Joe) chimed in in the end and he shut up, but I was just wondering if that list he was referring to was legitimate.

On this week's "Real Time with Bill Maher", one of his guest likened arguing with a Trump supporter about the election outcome is equivalent to this

From a Washington Post op-ed - The virus doesn’t care who won the presidential election

A reader responds:

Yes, unfortunately, this is the perfect storm of very bad timing.

Worst president ever is faced with pandemic during election year where the large winter surge (seeded by his superspreading election rallies) arrives just after he is defeated and is too busy throwing a tantrum to take any steps to mitigate it.

Too bad this isn’t some sort of dystopian movie plot instead of the reality we are all facing between now and January 20.

Nancy Pelosi is one that gets me SMH every day - she is like the Fox News host of the democrats

That's delusional nonsense. 'nuff said.

Batman:

I have to say - I believe if you have a democracy the voters get to choose, assuming the facts laid out are fair. and everybody should have a fair go in principle. Those who choose conservative in principal are no worse or better than those who choose progressive. Democract in principle is no better or worse than Republican - they're all the same.

the rot from both sides seem to start at the top -

Nancy Pelosi is one that gets me SMH every day - she is like the Fox News host of the democrats

Anyway, when people were announcing lockdowns and asking americans to cancel thanksgiving she was busy planning a lavish democrat thanksgiving gala! (which has since been cancelled after being hammered on social media)

Spitting image nailed it.

Meanwhile in DC, MAGA marchers show their true colours by waving placards, "surprising" Fox News.
