Comedian Matt Forde is the voice of British Prime Minister Boris Johnson and US President Donald Trump's puppets.

He told BBC World News America that the show is "just as outrageous, grotesque and ludicrous" as it was in the 1980s.

Problem is that it's actually not funny.  Has the comedic merit of Billy Connolly's "get on with it" hostage joke or Cleese's "Suicide Capital of NZ" joke (?), and is about as appealing and current as watching drunk old Englishmen singing Duran Duran covers at a Karaoke club.

Trump "million man" rally attracted thousands. Obviously Trump has vision problems. Inexplicably happens whenever he looks at Pro-him rallies, his election inauguration.

Here's some of the peaceful protesters who were only protecting themselves from "antifa"

"POYB" is Proud of Your Boy, or the Proud Boys, for short.

Ladies, they're all single, if you don't mind the small packages in paycheck envelopes, heads and trousers.

Note two altered American Flags. Both are favorites of white supremacists and neo-Nazis during the violent protests

In the foreground the American Flag with the blue stripe. It's supposed to represent The "thin blue line" the police as the line which keeps society from descending into violent chaos.

More disturbingly, in the background, is the inverted American flag of Action Antifasciste Nantes, a French far-right anti-Muslim group. They are fascists promoting the return of the French royalty.

Do you think these fellows do NOT want violent chaos?

This, of course, is the same supporters who would believe that burning an American flag should punishable by jail. Trump suggested that it should be loss of US citizenship.

Of course wearing American flag men's boxers, gyrating your hips into an American Flag (Trump at his rallies), and altering the American flag design are patriotic.

Trump, as usual, attracts only the brightest and best :(

In case you're wondering why the "Proud Boys" are flashing the "OK" finger signs, it's been commandeered as "White Power"

Note the Christchurch murderer flashing it in court.

Trump supporters protesting against democracy, waving flags, marching to the US Supreme Court - chanting "Fox News Sucks".

Could 2020 get even crazier?

Trump sent out a tweet saying "Human Radical Left garbage did this. Being arrested now!" and showing a video (now removed) of a Trumper (black jacket with orange letters) being knocked down.

What that video didn't show is what the Trumper did BEFORE being knocked down... The guy obviously wanted a fight - he got one.

He may have been agitating as much as anyone else - but the punch that took him down was a sucker punch from behind, and then others stomped him while he was down. Violence like that needs to be condemned regardless of which side it committed it, and it's far too easy to go down the road of "well, they started it".

EDIT: Just to note that the above "Full Video" is incomplete. It's doesn't show the man get his head stomped while he was on the ground, virtually unconscious.

Peter Alexander is an American journalist who currently works for NBC News.

He was named NBC News White House correspondent in December 2012.

The battle is of course for Trump's inflated ego, not for his followers.

The last time that theater caused this much political strife was when Lincoln went to Ford's Theatre in 1865.  😕

Agree that violence of this kind is unacceptable regardless of who does it. Also strongly feel that Trump encourages and incites this crap regardless of political direction.

On @realDonaldTrump today:

Do I detect a hint of sarcasm?

I can't find 'communihating' in the dictionary.

It also doesn't show the man who eventually got his head stomped initiating violence, then going postal, lashing out and belting women.  So don't get your knickers in a knot about "Antifa" initiating violence when you're looking at selected and edited video that was originally posted by The Daily Caller (a neofascist news organisation)

While that doesn't justify what eventually happened to him, don't kid yourself that "innocent" protester was beaten by angry mob.

(edit - posted still above before seeing that MF above had posted tweet including the video)

Let's face it: Trump enjoys chaos and drama.

That's fine if you're a cast member for "Jersey Shore" or "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills." But imagine if Xi Jinping, Putin, Angela Merkel had that attitude. Hell, even Boris Johnson is vastly more predictable and stable.

Summary of various new reports

Vox: Leaks suggest Trump knows his effort to stay in office is probably doomed

Trump isn’t yet conceding. But sources close to the president are telling reporters he knows he can’t win.

Trump used some existing slang that defines his tweets: communihate

Accidently, I'm sure, but appropriate.

I always thought Kellyanne 'alternative facts' Conway was unique in her ability to twist any argument without missing a beat, but after seeing Jenna Ellis on Bill Maher I have to admit that the Trump factory must have found a way to clone them. Who would have thought there could be two of these? There is something mesmerising in the way they are able to jump horses midstream without the slightest hesitation. It is like watching a top Olympics gymnast. You don't have to like what they say to admire the way they say it.
