So much contradiction and lying.

NATO is defensive, not an offensive alliance. They are positioned to work in the North Atlantic, Europe and North Africa. They did help the USA after September 11, the only time a country invoked Article 5.

The US never needed help? So why did he ask? Don't they need help from anyone? Good luck with that.

Trump always sounds like a demented infant in these screeds. Is there really no-one who can point out to him how self-defeating they are? Is he really so mentally impaired that he cannot comprehend how they come across to others? He is an absolute laughing stock to the world and the only thing that keeps others from pointing that out is that he has his finger on a very big button.

He comes across as a high-IQ individual, according to the MAGA faithful. That's what matters.

He doesn't care. Providing the MAGA cultists keep voting for him. Other countries can't vote, so they are inconsequential.

Its unfortunate that something that should be encouraging "make America Great Again" has been weaponised and is now a massive negative. We should be striving to make "insert country name here" great again, by encouraging growth, aspirations and opportunities across all sectors of society.

I wonder if he can quote which of the "many countries" wanted him to take this action, will the leaders of those countries publicly acknowledge their support?

He's also tried to claim at least one former president supports him:

and failed.. unless it was a seance with Nixon.

Donald Trump famously used the pseudonyms “John Barron” and “John Miller.”

Especially in the 1980s and 1990s, he would speak to the media over the phone often to praise himself or defend his public image.

Definitely the characteristic of a mentally healthy mature man.

See Pseudonyms used by Donald Trump: Wiki

And from 2016, The amazing story of Donald Trump’s old spokesman, John Barron — who was actually Donald Trump himself: Washington Post

In the 1980s, when reporters called the Trump Organization to request an interview with the boss, they were sometimes referred to a spokesman, instead. That a busy and image-conscious executive such as Donald Trump would place a buffer between himself and the media was hardly unusual, but there was a twist: The spokesman, John Barron, was actually Trump, hiding behind a fake name.

Barron (also spelled “Baron” in some press accounts) appears to have been Trump’s go-to alias when he was under scrutiny, in need of a tough front man or otherwise wanting to convey a message without attaching his own name to it.

Maybe the posts about Trump unrelated to the current conflict and his history could go in the Trump thread

The conflagration will spread. In protest against the US offensive against Iran, the head of the National Counterterrorism Center, Joseph Kent, has resigned. A shrewd move, because he already suspects that the US is now facing some serious terrorist attacks.

Even more when you read news that Kash Patel gutted FBI counterintelligence team tasked with tracking Iranian threats days before US strikes.

What a smart move.
