Rikkitic: Congratulations President Biden! The toddler is no longer in charge of the day care.
Unfortunately, he is still in charge of the day care - until January 20.
He could do a lot more damage before then. 😟

"The White House’s chief security officer just had his leg amputated bc of COVID, and his family has had go to GoFundMe to help pay for it all. “The White House declined to say whether Trump has contributed to the effort.”"

covid causes a clotting syndrome, clot in brain = stroke, clot in leg = leg stroke -> amputation

You'd think that it was an occupational hazard that was not mitigated - sue the US govt (unfortunately tax payers will foot the bill)

Except that he is, until Jan 20. 5 more weeks!
UNQUALIFIED STUDENT REJECTED BY PRESTIGIOUS COLLEGE
WASHINGTON (The Borowitz Report)—In a widely expected outcome, a totally unqualified student was rejected by an exclusive college on Monday.
The college’s decision to reject the student was unsurprising given his poor performance in such important subjects as reading, spelling, languages, math, science, history and geography.
Although the student was reportedly taking his rejection badly, a college spokesperson said that the news should have come as no surprise.
“He was told that he wasn’t getting in more than a month ago,” the spokesperson said. “This was just a formality.”
Having failed to get accepted by the college, the student is expected to seek employment in a business started by his dad, which prefers that family employees have few or no qualifications.

The Washington Post - Some Republicans acknowledge Biden is president-elect after electoral college vote
today
Here is one Republican lawmaker's response, worthy of Sir Humphrey Appleby "Yes Minister" comedy status:
Sen. Kevin Cramer (Republican N.D.) gave a convoluted response to reporters in which he seemed to take great pains not to reference Biden’s victory in any way:
"Well, it seems to me that being elected by the electoral college is a threshold where a title like that is probably most appropriate and it’s, I suppose you can say official, if there is such a thing as official president-elect, or anything else-elect.
And there’s an inauguration that will swear somebody in and that person will be the president of the United States, but whether you call it that or not, you know, there are legal challenges that are ongoing - not very many - probably not a remedy that would change the outcome but, so, I don’t - again I don’t know how a politician refers to another politician but it does look to me like the big race is really between the inaugural committee and the Justice Department at this point so we'll see how the emails turn out."
