LOL -  my eyes are bleeding.    I toggled "show mature content" on - hoping for some nice surprises - but everything on the site disappeared. (well it should have...)

That site may be the perfect outlet for occupational therapists in psych wards to reduce their recycling costs and maybe make a few aussie dollars on the side.

I guess one of the attractions for hopeful budding entrepreneurs is that in most countries political figures don't have IP protection for their own images -  other well-known "celebrities" would sue the pants off you if you tried to sell tee-shirts with their images on it, because they do it themselves, even mickey mouse does it.

He'd scrub up okay for those who really care using fewer gallons of orange spray tan, <$100k a year worth of hairdressing care from a ferret-groomer, and a diet with sufficient hamberders to give him the "pneumatic" look admired in Brave New World.

At least what's between his ears seems to be reasonably functional - something 75% of most recent GOP presidents lacked.

Some republicans are having trouble congratulating Joe Biden, but Putin wastes no time.

Senate majority leader Mitch McConnell begrudgingly says Biden is the president-elect. Biden congratulates Mitch McConnell for recognizing him.

Stephen Colbert:

"It's like we tell kids when they play sports.

It is important to realize when you have lost.

Then 6 weeks later, drive back to the field, and shake the other team's hand, and say 'good game, you cheater.'"

The Wall Street Journal: More Republicans now say Joe Biden is president-elect

...It takes one member of the House and one senator to formally challenge the electoral votes of any state. Majorities in both chambers would have to agree to reject the votes. So far no senator has joined in an effort led by Republican Representative Mo Brooks to challenge the results in several states.

...Some senators remained reluctant to say the words “President-elect Biden.”

“Well, it seems to me that being elected by the Electoral College is a threshold where a title like that is probably most appropriate, and it’s—I suppose you can say—official, if there is such a thing as official president-elect, or anything else-elect,” said Republican Senator Kevin Cramer.

Asked whether it is time to acknowledge Biden as president-elect, Republican Senator Chuck Grassley replied, “I don’t have to—the Constitution does.”

“That’s like the gotcha question of the day,” complained Republican Senator John Barrasso.

Actually Bill Clinton doesn't look that good sometimes these days and he's younger than Biden. It shows how a job at that level ages you (if you take it seriously of course). Tony Blair for example looked a different person after being PM for 9 years and Obama visibly aged.

I sometimes think the US and the rest of the world would be better served by Presidents who had no functioning brain cells whatsoever ie incapable of speech.

I saw the documentary about Hillary Clinton earlier this year and you're right, Bill has aged quite badly.

"Trump has reportedly been convinced he actually won, tells advisers he may not vacate the White House"

President Trump was privately coming to terms with his loss to President-elect Joe Biden, but he "has now reversed and dug in deeper — not only spreading misinformation about the election, but ingesting it himself," CNN reports, "egged on by advisers like Rudy Giuliani and Jenna Ellis who are misleading Trump about the extent of voting irregularities and the prospects of a reversal." One adviser told CNN, "He's been fed so much misinformation that I think he actually thinks this thing was stolen from him."

Even the Electoral College formalizing Biden's win "did not appear enough to shake Trump from his delusions of victory," CNN says, "but it is adding urgency to a push by several of his advisers to gently steer Trump toward reality." Discussions of Trump's post-presidency future tend to go nowhere because Trump "all but shuts down," CNN reports. "In his moments of deepest denial, Trump has told some advisers that he will refuse to leave the White House on Inauguration Day, only to be walked down from that ledge. The possibility has alarmed some aides, but few believe Trump will actually follow through."

"To be perfectly clear about this, Trump 100 percent will leave the White House on Inauguration Day, if not well before," Jonathan Chait writes at New York. "Even the scholars who expressed the deepest fears of Trump's intentions to undermine the system did not put credence in the possibility he could defy the outcome by simply refusing to leave. Squatting is not one of the tools in his authoritarian tool kit." But the fact that Trump thinks that's even a viable option suggests he's "engaged in more than a scheme to grift his supporters," Chait says. He's "drinking his own poisoned Kool-Aid."

Grifters are gonna grift. See my previous post above.

Yes, but will Secret Service agents protecting Trump going to fight the Secret Service agents trying to clear the building, followed by the Secret Service agents protecting Biden?

It's a bit too tasteful for Trump, but perhaps the Secret Service should hire professional wrestlers, and make it pay-for-view

I would definitely pay to see that show! When Trump was first elected, those who opposed him, even strenuously opposed him, were prepared to at least wait and see what he did, while hoping it wouldn't be as bad as they feared. The 'liberal' media for the most part were willing to give him the benefit of the doubt initially.

It was Trump himself who set the tone for everything that came after. He mocked the disabled, disparaged veterans, called the media the enemy of the people, embraced extremists, went after anyone and everyone he did not approve of. He was a classic bully and he behaved like one. He should not be surprised if people want to kick him while he's down and cheer as he is thrown out the door. He set the tone and he is reaping what he sowed.

It only takes two idiots ...

The Washington Post - Rep.-elect Marjorie Taylor Greene says she’ll formally object to electoral results when Congress votes

breaking

Marjorie Taylor Greene, a newly elected GOP congresswoman from Georgia, said she will be among those who object to some Biden-won states’ electoral votes for president when they come before a joint session of Congress on Jan. 6.

Greene, a Trump ally who ascended to Congress after beating a more mainstream Republican in the Georgia primary, has been among the most vocal defenders of Trump’s baseless cries that voter fraud cost him the election.

On January 6th, I will hold the line and OBJECT to fraudulent electoral votes from several states, including Georgia." Greene tweeted.

Greene, who has espoused extreme conspiracy theories, including those held by QAnon followers, will be joining Rep. Mo Brooks (R-Ala.), who first raised the idea of objecting to Congress officially counting the electoral votes and certifying the winner of the presidency. ...

The move is mostly political theater, but it would force every Republican lawmaker to go on the record either defending Trump or the election results.

One of the misfits in the rogue's gallery.

Despites his looks, General Flynn is very cozy with the Russians. Obama warned Trump administration to not hire this guy, because of his dubious background.

He pled guilty to lying to Congress, sentenced to a felony, but Trump pardoned him.
