MSNBC: "‘Disgrace To His Uniform’: Colonel Wilkerson on former Lieutenant General and Trump pardoned felon Michael Flynn's martial law election plot to overturn the election"

"Were I the Secretary of Defense
  • I'd call him back to active duty, which is in the prerogative of the Secretary of Defense

  • and I'd court martial him

  • at a minimum I'd cite him with incitement to insurrection
This is not something a military officer should do.

You serve until you're 85 years old. It's half-pay. It's not necessarily retired pay. You can be called back at any time

NBC News: Feds have discussed making a legal request for Giuliani's electronic communications, say two sources

Federal prosecutors have discussed making a legal request for Rudy Giuliani's electronic communications ...

...The scope of the current investigation is unclear, but in October 2019, The Wall Street Journal reported that prosecutors from the Southern District were reviewing Giuliani's bank records as part of an investigation into his dealings in Ukraine.

Two of his former associates, Lev Parnas and, were arrested that month on charges of campaign finance fraud and have since been charged with additional crimes related to wire fraud conspiracy. Parnas and Fruman have pleaded not guilty...

I was curious to see how McEnaney had arrived at her 'one chance in a quadrillion of Biden coming from behind' statement.

I found the explanation from the above-pictured down-to-earth mathematician, on his site below.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ua5aOFi-DKs&ab_channel=Stand-upMaths

If you just want the synopsis, watch from 7:00 to 9:12.

Basically, the reason is very simple. The early results which showed Trump leading were boosted by the in-person voters whom Trump had discouraged from mail voting.

The later votes that pushed Biden ahead were predominantly from Dems who'd sensibly decided to stay home and vote by mail.

That's it. Nothing sinister, nothing illegal, nothing fraudulent, nothing that was statistically improbable.

Trump crowned? No faux King way!

So, a US president can now pardon criminals who break the law for the benefit of the president.

This is from the "law and order" party.  Banana Republic USA for the next month.

Wow, this is all kinds of insane.

As far as I can tell his "evidence" boils down to :-

1) They counted mail-in votes and these favoured Biden, so they must be fraudulent
2) I did so much as President so to lose the election it must be fraud
3) Biden got more votes than Obama so it must be fraud
4) <insert debunked conspiracy theories>

No wonder he keeps losing in court.

Ah but to Trump this is all normal (in his deluded world), and the Democrats and anyone who disagrees with him must be out to get him, the system is against him because he didn't like the election result, and blah blah blah...

Meanwhile coronavirus rages through America, killing thousands every day, and his care factor = 0.

Of course he knows he lost and there's no hope.

It's a scam to raise funds, either to plunder by paying his family members massive fees for "consulting work" (as per usual), or to use it for a Trump 2024 campaign - be that for Donald, or for one of his dim-witted kids.

Bonus for Trump in continuing to deny he lost is whatever happens, he's got a flock of half-witted morons as cult members. Their number may be reducing, but they're making up for in in volume.  Every time Trump or one of his cultees carries on with their nonsense about the election being "stolen", the natural reaction by sane people to tell them they're deluded morons - and that is counter-productive.  What's keeping them going is solidarity of screaming at the clouds together. Trump needs their worship.

I think some of the MSM like the NY Times has cottoned on to it - they've been completely ignoring his (and his supporters') delusional rants.

That's what I thought, but now I'm not so sure. If some of the reported stories claiming info from anonymous Trump aids, it sounds like at this point he actually believes his own bullsh*t.

He's always believed it, IMO. It's just getting the people who can do things for him that matter to him to believe it (ie, Congress, Senate, the House, etc).

Michael Pence is going to be confirming the vote for Joe in the next fortnight and I bet Trump will be spitting tacks about it.

Also there are some really thick people on Facebook saying that Trump has won and Joe should concede. Concede what? He didn't lose!

New York Times: Covid Antibody Drugs Go Unused as Need Soars

While such treatments are promising, their use has been slowed by testing lags, overwhelmed hospitals and a perception the therapies are only for well-connected people.

When federal regulators approved two antibody treatments last month for emergency use in high-risk Covid-19 patients, doctors worried there would not be enough to go around.

President Trump had taken one of the treatments, made by Regeneron, in October and promoted it as a “cure.” Early trial data had shown the treatments could keep people at risk of severe disease out of the hospital if administered soon after infection with the coronavirus.

But in a surprising turn of events, the treatments are sitting unused in hospital refrigerators around the country....

The federal government has on hand nearly 532,000 doses of the two drugs ... But early data collected from hospitals by the federal government suggest that they have given only about 20 percent of their supply to patients.

...These treatments have to be infused into patients in a narrow window of time, within 10 days of when they start showing symptoms, but before they’re sick enough to be hospitalized. Administrators have struggled to identify people who should get the antibody drugs because of delays in testing and a lack of coordination between testing sites and hospitals.

And demand from patients themselves has been weaker than expected. Some have been reluctant to venture out of their homes to get the therapies in hospitals — or perceive the treatments aren’t available to them but are going to well-connected people like Chris Christie, the former Republican governor of New Jersey, and Ben Carson, the housing secretary in the Trump administration.

“There were politicians getting it, and bragging about it. People thought, well it’s not for me — it’s for those people,” Dr. Skovronsky said....

Not applicable to just Trump. Only the justice system should be able to overturn a conviction.

Presumably dreamed up by the Founding Fathers so that only the 'right' people were executed/imprisoned ie not the Presidents mates.
