I know I'd support the New Zealand putting him and his ilk on the "No fly" terrorist list which would suit their actions. He could still take a boat to return.

Mirror: The quiet alpine town in Argentina that housed thousands of Nazis after the war - and Hitler may have been one

I would make him subscribe to the Mirror as part of his punishment!

Also - Kiwi Chris Liddell sounds like he's trying to salvage his reputation back home, indicating a possible return ...

But what would he do here?

Usurp Christopher Luxon as the next leader of the National Party?

If a known Trump staffer joins the National Party then we know where it's heading.

I'd guess the progression would be:
  1. rubbish bin / dumpster fire

  2. tire fire

  3. sewage fire

  4. a "B-Train" truck-trailer fire

  5. a train fire

  6. a freighter fire

  7. a volcano fire

  8. Trump moving to Australia

  9. Trump moving to New Zealand

  10. Trump becoming head of National Party

  11. Trump becomes head of World Health Organization

GoFundMe, the largest fund-raising site in the world, said it took down fund-raisers for travel expenses for individuals involved in potentially violent political events and would continue to ban them. In recent months, the company removed several fund-raisers attempting to challenge the results of the 2020 election, a spokesman said.

“We strongly condemn the violence and attempted insurrection and will continue to remove fund-raisers that attempt to spread misinformation about the election, promote conspiracy theories and contribute to or participate in attacks on U.S. democracy,” said Patrick Mahoney, a spokesman for the company in an email.

Airbnb said on Monday that it is reviewing all Washington-area reservations, and those associated with hate groups will have their reservations canceled and be banned from the platform, as will people identified as being involved in criminal activity at the Capitol.

Talks about the wall for first 55 seconds.

Trump
  • his remarks to a rally beforehand were “totally appropriate”

  • the effort by Congress to impeach and convict him was “causing tremendous anger”

  • “People thought what I said was totally appropriate,”

  • “If you look at what other people have said, politicians at a high level about the riots during the summer, the horrible riots in Portland and Seattle and various other places, that was a real problem,”

Seeing a lot of reports that some Kiwi MAGAnauts have been suspended on Twitter. There was a large number of New Zealanders who for whatever reason seemed to worship the ground Trump walked on.

The guy is just a complete cock and I hope all the karma in the world returns to him.

I have to admit though I have been finding it incredibly riveting to following what has been going on since the riot.

Either Trump is cynically pretending to be blameless, or he is deluded enough to really believe that he is "perfect".

With or without insight, he is dangerous and volatile and needs to go ASAP.

Here is the original caption, which I thought was too long and boring.

Unfortunately, the small print shows this to be from the Series of 2020, which was demonetised on 01 January 2021.

PS   My own suggested caption: "That's the last time I go on a Trump Cruise."

From CNN:

Wyoming's Liz Cheney, the third-ranking GOP leader, announced in a statement today that she will vote to impeach President Trump, saying that he "summoned this mob, assembled the mob, and lit the flame of this attack."

I think she mentioned its a vote for confidence? Last time it was the party line

"John Katko has reportedly become the first Republican House member to publicly support Trump's impeachment. "

While its probably more, "which non sinking ship shall I board" they are coming out of the woodwork. Each one allows another one to emerge. GOP with Trump clinging on or GOP with a fresh start. Im sure all of them know the latter is the way forward, they just need to act.

Washington (CNN)Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell has indicated that he believes that impeaching President Donald Trump will make it easier to get rid of the President and Trumpism from the Republican Party, according to a source with knowledge of the matter.

Another person with direct knowledge told CNN there's a reason McConnell has been silent on impeachment as other Republicans have pushed back: he's furious about last week's attack on the US Capitol by the President's supporters, even more so that Trump has shown no contrition.
