Relatives of Adam Kinzinger publish an open letter accusing the Illinois representative of joining ‘the devil’s army’
... relatives of Adam Kinzinger, the Illinois representative who is one of Trump’s rare Republican critics, have taken their beef with the congressman into the public square, in an open letter published on Monday by the New York Times.

Oh dear he will need serious cult deprogramming therapy before they accept him back in.
Whilst the difficult we can do immediately, the impossible takes a bit longer. However, miracles you will have to wait for.

I am surprised to learn that Trump and God are on "the same side".
Apparently “President Trump is not perfect ... but he is a Christian!”
Is he?
He doesn't behave like one. ...

The New York Times - Opinion - If There Was a Republican Civil War, It Appears to Be Over
The party belongs to Trump for as long as he wants it.
today
That there is a backlash against the seven Republican senators who voted to convict Donald Trump of inciting a mob against Congress is not that shocking. ...
That this backlash was completely expected, even banal, should tell you everything you need to know about the so-called civil war in the Republican Party.
It doesn’t exist.
Outside of a rump faction of (occasional) dissidents, there is no truly meaningful anti-Trump opposition within the party. ...
Seventy-five percent of Republicans want Trump to continue to “play a prominent role in the Republican Party,” according to a new poll from Quinnipiac University, and 87 percent say he should be allowed to “hold elected office in the future.” ...
With Trump’s grip on the party and its image what it is, the outcome we’re most likely to see is the one we already experienced: a Republican Party with Trump at its head, committed to nothing but his insatiable ego.
I hope that this op ed proves to be wrong. 🙁

A majority of Americans does not support Donald Trump, but a majority of Republicans certainly seems to. In a democracy, the majority rules, so let Trump have his party until or unless the majority will changes. In the meantime, let the other majority do everything possible to put him behind bars and assist in forming a new responsible conservative movement to pick up the values abandoned by the Republicans so voters not in the cult have a real choice for future elections.

Would Texans now have preferred a few miles less wall, and a better electricity grid.

The outages cover the areas served by Electric Reliability Council of Texas, or ERCOT, from the counties bordering Mexico up to those touching Oklahoma, and from Houston in the east to rural Big Bend in the west. Yet areas outside of ERCOT's coverage zone, including the eastern border with Louisiana, the northwest panhandle and El Paso in the west, are basically unaffected.
Texas officials pointed the blame at the power company and called for investigations. US Rep. Marc Veasey, a Democrat who represents parts of Fort Worth and Dallas, said he's learned from an industry executive that the power grid was just minutes from failing on Monday before state agency officials initiated emergency rolling outages.

Who would have known Infrastructure could be so difficult.
