For a complex case, 5 to 10 years.

However that's good:
  • It'll tie him up with constant demands, even if lawyers are handling

  • It'll make sure he remains in the news at least monthly, probably for the rest of his life
He's pretty much guaranteed to lose.

Giuliani is in tough place. He can't afford to lose.

A typical New York pay-out for an individual in a serious case is NZ $7 million. So we're looking for at least that much.

NZ $38 billion is the largest single award, against Phil Morris tobacco company.

Civil case are independent of any criminal case. Civil case have a much lower burden of proof.

Attendees stand in awe and call out in praise as the Golden Trump is wheeled into CPAC:

The faithful seem unconcerned the idol has no pants.

The Don is back ...

The New York Times - Former President Trump endorses a former aide challenging a pro-impeachment House Republican.

breaking

Former President Donald J. Trump, in his first formal step toward trying to punish Republicans who voted to impeach him, jumped into a 2022 intraparty primary for Congress on Friday, throwing his support behind a former White House aide running against a G.O.P. congressman who supported impeachment last month.

The former aide, Max Miller, will challenge Representative Anthony Gonzalez for the Republican nomination in Ohio’s 16th Congressional District, which is south of Cleveland.

Max Miller is a wonderful person who did a great job at the White House and will be a fantastic Congressman,” Mr. Trump said in a statement.

He is a Marine Veteran, a son of Ohio, and a true PATRIOT. Current Rep. Anthony Gonzalez should not be representing the people of the 16th district because he does not represent their interest or their heart. Max Miller has my Complete and Total Endorsement!

From the wording down to the capitalization, it read exactly like the dozens of endorsement tweets Mr. Trump used to post before he was banned from Twitter ...

The speed of Mr. Trump’s endorsement - which came almost immediately after Mr. Miller formally entered the race on Friday - underscored the central role the former president hopes to play in future elections, as well as the intensity of his anger at the few Republicans who were willing to oppose him. ...

...  and so are his fascist cronies ...

The New York Times - At CPAC, Josh Hawley is unapologetic about trying to overturn the election results, and draws a standing ovation.

today

ORLANDO, Fla. - Senator Josh Hawley of Missouri was defiantly unapologetic on Friday about his role on Jan. 6 in trying to overturn the results of the presidential election, and drew a standing ovation from an audience of far-right conservatives when he cast his act of subversion as a defense of election integrity.

On Jan. 6, I objected to the Electoral College certification - maybe you heard about it,” Mr. Hawley said at the Conservative Political Action Conference in Orlando.

He had barely finished making that comment before people erupted in applause.

I stood up, I said, ‘We ought to have a debate about election integrity,’” he said. ...

The 41-year-old first-term senator received a hero’s welcome from the CPAC crowd and a continuous roll of applause as he revved them up for that fight.

We’re not gonna back down to the woke mob, we’re not gonna back down to cancel culture, we’re not gonna be told what we can say or do,” he said. ...

The best Twitter comment I have seen so far is that his hands are small even on the idol!

Anti-cancelling themed CPAC decides to cancel speaker in relation to seven year old tweets:

Gotta accept there's been some progress.

Looks like some of the tweets in question were seven months old or less - not seven years

I'm amazed nobody reads this stuff before they invite people, or maybe they do and ignore it. Tweets are reproduced at the bottom of the article.

His comments are both repulsive, delusional, and self-contradicting.

He's only missing "is a millionaire" to become a perfect CPAC speaker.

God, that Josh Hawley is such a arse-kissing loser. Like I said before, I hope whatever-the-hell election he comes up for next he loses by a massive amount. Or as his idol would say, [losing] "bigly".

From the article:

... a virulently anti-Semitic...

I would have thought that'd be part of the criteria for attending a Retrumplican glee fest.
