gzt: Meanwhile before losing Larry Elder started a website accusing California of voting fraud:

https://www.sacbee.com/news/politics-government/capitol-alert/article254078633.html

I don't like to think about where this is going, again..

Elder was claiming voter fraud BEFORE the voting started!

CNN -  Larry Elder isn't even waiting to call the California recall election a fraud

14 Sep 2021

Larry Elder, the leading Republican candidate in Tuesday night's California gubernatorial recall election, is asking supporters to fill out an online form to report alleged fraud, noting that "statistical analyses used to detect fraud in elections held in 3rd-world nations (such as Russia, Venezuela, and Iran) have detected fraud in California resulting in Governor Gavin Newsom being reinstated as governor."

The only problem? The election hasn't happened yet.

You can't argue with "logic" like that.

The Washington Post - Biden says he has ‘great confidence’ in Milley ...

today

President Biden said Wednesday that he has “great confidence” in Gen. Mark A. Milley, the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, after a new book revealed that the country’s top military officer privately conferred with his Chinese military counterpart to avert armed conflict with the United States late in the Trump administration. ...

His brief comments echoed those of White House spokeswoman Jen Psaki, who said during an earlier briefing that Biden had come to know Milley well during his presidency.

They’ve worked side by side through a range of international events,” Psaki said. “And the president has complete confidence in his leadership, his patriotism and his fidelity to our Constitution.” ...

and ...

The Washington Post - Opinion: Milley’s revelation about Trump leaves us with five questions

today

  • First, what guarantees must be put in place to prevent an unstable president from setting off a nuclear war? ...

  • Second, why did Vice President Mike Pence and the Cabinet not invoke the 25th Amendment to relieve a president who was clearly unfit for office? ...

  • Third, how could former White House officials [listed] not inform the country of the president’s unfitness for office? ...

  • Fourth, how could Republican officeholders then and to this day pay homage to, take direction from, and support for reelection, someone who was clearly unstable? ...

  • Finally, why did the media consistently underplay President Donald Trump’s incoherence, and why do they still resist confronting Republicans about their blind loyalty to a crackpot? ...

The New York Times - After Newsom’s Decisive Victory, Californians Tally the Cost

today

How much was spent on the recall? One estimate: Nearly half a billion dollars.

Officially, the state estimated that administering a recall election would cost taxpayers $276 million.

But that doesn’t take into account the mountain of cash spent on the campaigns - both Governor Newsom’s effort to keep his job and the attempts to gain traction by his rivals.

David McCuan, a political science professor at Sonoma State University and an expert on the state’s ballot initiative system, estimated that, all told, the cost of the recall would be closer to half a billion dollars - $450 million, and possibly more. ...

Eisenhower showed remarkable insight when he swapped the US official motto 'E Pluribus Unum ' for 'In God We Trust'.

'Forget Unity, folks, God'll tell us what to do.'

Hmm. Maybe He's busy in another galaxy right now.

Trump crowned? No faux King way!

The Washington Post - This is how embarrassing Trump’s ‘fraud’ claims have gotten

today

[On Friday 17 September] Trump sent a letter to Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger (R), insisting that the results of the 2020 election in Georgia be decertified, something Trump has been pestering Raffensperger about since that January call in which he begged the secretary to “find 11,780 votes, which is one more than we have.”  ...

But now! Trump at long last has the proof of fraud he’d long insisted existed.

You can tell because of the very first sentence in his letter: “Large scale Voter Fraud continues to be reported in Georgia.” ...

The claim is this:
People hired to transport ballots from drop boxes to the county were mandated to do so immediately, but sometimes those ballots weren’t logged by the county until hours later or the next day.

EDIT: This “Chain of Custody” claim being made by Trump stems from a report by a pro-Trump website called Georgia Star News.

It’s part of a group of sites established to mimic local news coverage but largely promoting stories friendly to the right.

My question is: Who is reporting this Large scale Voter Fraud ? Are they legitimate sworn in state or county office holders or are they just aggrieved GOP Trump red necks or such like supporters who have NO actual documented and/or photographic proof?

Or is Trump still sucking on his gripe water dummy ??

Whilst the difficult we can do immediately, the impossible takes a bit longer. However, miracles you will have to wait for.

Bush said Saturday in Shanksville, Pennsylvania., at a ceremony to remember the hijacking and crash of United Flight 93, which was commandeered by Muslim terrorists.:

"We have seen growing evidence that the dangers to our country can come not only across borders but from violence that gathers within,”

“There is little cultural overlap between violent extremists abroad and violent extremists at home,” Bush said.

“But in their disdain for pluralism, in their disregard for human life, in their determination to defile national symbols, they are children of the same foul spirit and it is our continuing duty to confront them.”

Here in full to save you from wading in the cesspool.

Save America.com: Statement by Donald J. Trump, 45th President of the United States of America

"So interesting to watch former President Bush, who is responsible for getting us into the quicksand of the Middle East (and then not winning!), as he lectures us that terrorists on the “right” are a bigger problem than those from foreign countries that hate America, and that are pouring into our Country right now.

If that is so, why was he willing to spend trillions of dollars and be responsible for the death of perhaps millions of people?

He shouldn’t be lecturing us about anything.

The World Trade Center came down during his watch.

Bush led a failed and uninspiring presidency.

He shouldn’t be lecturing anybody!"

Newsweek: Adam Kinzinger Admits 'Trump Is Winning,' Urges GOP to Stand Up to 'Lies'

Representative Adam Kinzinger, an Illinois Republican and staunch critic of former President Donald Trump, admitted in a Saturday video statement that Trump is currently "winning" the battle for party control but urged GOP lawmakers to take a stand against his "absolute lies."

Kinzinger, along with nine other House Republicans, voted to impeach Trump for inciting his supporters to attack the U.S. Capitol on January 6. Along with Representative Liz Cheney, a Wyoming Republican, Kinzinger has become one of Trump's most outspoken House Republican critics and serves on the select committee investigating 1/6.

"A couple days ago my friend [Representative] Anthony Gonzalez announced he won't run again. And now the pundits and politicos are discussing whether this means that Trump won," Kinzinger said in a Saturday video posted to Twitter. "So let me answer this question: Yes, as of now, Trump is winning," the Illinois Republican said.
