LARRY ELDER CLAIMS WIDESPREAD EVIDENCE OF HIM LOSING

SACRAMENTO, California (The Borowitz Report)—After the polls closed in California’s recall election, the G.O.P. candidate Larry Elder claimed that there was “widespread evidence” of him losing to Governor Gavin Newsom.

Detailing his accusations, Elder alleged a “vast conspiracy” involving millions of Californians, designed to deny him a victory.

“I had people stationed at polling places across the state and they came back with truly shocking reports of people voting for Newsom,” he said. “Now, lo and behold, Newsom is being declared the winner. Coincidence? I don’t think so.”

Seeking a remedy for what he called “one of the most blatant cases of someone losing in California history,” Elder has retained the legal services of the former New York mayor Rudolph Giuliani.

The two men are scheduled to hold a press conference on Thursday in Santa Monica, at Shutters on the Beach Total Landscaping.

Though Elder is playing his cards close to the vest, one remedy reportedly under discussion is a campaign to recall all ten million of the state’s Democratic votes.

Yeah that was a big nothing. Funny, as soon as the Trumpets know there'll be law enforcement actually ready for them, suddenly they ain't feeling mar freedumds. Shocker that is.

Gorge Will was a republican till Trump, 2016, mow an independent. He's very much a conservative / right libertarian.

George Will: Donald Trump is on the way to becoming a bore

Amanpour and Company

Are Americans being consumed by discontent? Vaccine mandates, abortion laws, and disagreement about the very notion of freedom are widening the political divide. What does all this mean for the pursuit of happiness?

Just had our 1600 post. Is that significant in this topic along Pennsylvania ave?

Whilst the difficult we can do immediately, the impossible takes a bit longer. However, miracles you will have to wait for.

That's the difference between the two sides: The BLMers, whether you agree with them or not, went out when there were armed nazi thugs waiting for them. The freedumbers get put off by a few uniformed police standing around.

LOL and yet the Republicans call the Democrats the "snowflakes".

A line in the Politico story cracked me up:
“Take a look around. Do you see an insurrection?” said Cara Castronuova, a professional boxer and trainer who leads a group defending Jan. 6 arrestees. “Shame on the people the system that put fear in the hearts of American citizens to stay home, and to not come out. ... What kind of America has this become where people are afraid to come out and protest?”

LOL whatever. They didn't seem very "afraid" on the 6th, did they? Of course, once they realised their actions would have consequences suddenly they became "afraid". Ironic much?

Oh, what a surprise, yet another anti-vaxer catches coronavirus and complains it's uncomfortable, after saying she wanted to catch it, thinking it's no worse than food poisoning:

Yeah, sorry girly, I don't think "thoughts and prayers" are going to cure you, eh.

Also, this zinger: "I have not taken the COVID vaccine and I don't plan on ever taking it because it is unsafe and ineffective" - righto. Bit hard to change your mind if you die from it though (as a lot of other people who think the same as you have done), eh? Dumbass 😠

Even Trump at times loses control of the MAGA monster and is just stuck on the crazy train. Like recently when he publicly urged taking the vaccine and got semi booed from the crowd. (Whoops, I forgot my followers don't like rational advice, better back it up) "That's ok, you got your freedums..." (and a mass grave opening soon but Alabama's not a swing state, so whatever).

I wish it was just a MAGA problem but the crazies are everywhere. I got passed a link to a document that most people who got the vaccine are going to die after about a year. 😐😂 Author: Natural News dot com.... yeah, that infamous website banned by Google & Facebook twice. But don't worry crazies, you can still visit the website for info on natural remedies - there's a fine selection of articles on Hillary's emails & the promotion of big oil fracking.

It frustrates me all these people who are told by doctors (for example) who have studied medicine for, oh, I dunno, all their lives that the coronavirus vaccine is safe, but they listen to Frank (or whoever) who has 40 followers on his Youtube channel and 18 friends on Facebook and has "done the research" and has suddenly determined that "it's not safe, take horse dewormer or bleach instead". They listen to Frank because he tells them what they want to hear - which isn't the facts.

CALIFORNIA REPUBLICANS FLEE TO FLORIDA AND TEXAS IN SEARCH OF DUMBER GOVERNORS

CALIFORNIA (The Borowitz Report)—Despondent after yesterday’s recall election, millions of California Republicans are fleeing to Florida and Texas in search of dumber governors.

The Republicans are choosing to leave their lives in California behind rather than put up with another year and a half of a governor who obsessively follows science.

Harland Dorrinson, a real-estate agent in Orange County, said that he was leaving for a new life in Florida with little more than the Rolex on his arm.

“I looked at myself in the mirror and asked, Can I really live under the tyranny of a governor who blindly adheres to verifiable reality?” he said. “I decided I’d be better off with Ron DeSantis.”

Although he is excited about starting over in the Sunshine State, Dorrinson said that choosing between Florida and Texas was “one of the toughest decisions” of his life.

“With Governor Abbott and Governor DeSantis, you really can’t go wrong,” he said. “Both of them oppose mask mandates. Both of them oppose vaccine mandates. But DeSantis has actually had his videos banned from YouTube for spreading COVID misinformation. That was the tiebreaker for me.”

And another one. Sadly, I fear she won't be the last. I feel for her poor kids being left behind without a mother because of her own selfishness (and ignorance).

Saw a good publication on this linked from a tech forum... ah, this. Check out the doctors' names.
