The New York Times - Republican Review of Arizona Vote Fails to Show Stolen Election

What a waste of time and money, to re-re-re-prove what everyone already knows.

Everyone bar Trump and his cronies, that is.

As any propagandist will tell you “yell hard enough and long enough” and you will get people to believe anything, especially those who think they are disenfranchised by the current state of anything that they dislike.

Trump is an expert at this and has done it since he was first slapped on the butt to cry. He has since gone on to perfect cajolement, tantrums and bullying, verbally and through the courts.

And yet he has charisma, like all dictators do, and his kindergarten speak, instead of working against him,  does the opposite, because the lowest dominator’s in American society can understand him and this is his base believers.

Whilst the difficult we can do immediately, the impossible takes a bit longer. However, miracles you will have to wait for.

The Washington Post - Arizona audit debunks Trump’s false claims, but the poison of misinformation still threatens the electoral process

today

Another door slammed shut Friday on the ceaseless and fraudulent campaign by Donald Trump to claim fraud about the 2020 election.

The fact that the door closed will not stop Trump from continuing to make his baseless claims about last year’s vote. ...

This is the poison that Trump has injected into the election system.

Those doubts exist largely because he has told the falsehood over and over, others around him have done the same, and many others in the party have not stood up to him, preferring to look the other way.

Trump knows that his loyalists believe what he says about the election, all evidence to the contrary notwithstanding, and so he will continue to say it. ...

Cartoonists are gonna need to be more careful: Trumpers will take this for news.

'Those who can make you believe absurdities can make you commit atrocities.' Voltaire

'A patriot must always be ready to defend his country against his government.' Edward Abbey

Is there a phrase exponently worse than "sore loser"?

A sore loser will pout, throw a tantrum, cry, and storm off screaming "no fair. you cheated. screw you, you bunch of losers. no fair...."

However if after 9 months, someone wakes up, drives to the game field, lays on the ground, and pounds the dust, then it's time for the men with the coat with extra long arms to arrive.

I finished watching a Netflix series last night: "How to become a Tyrant"

Trump must have read the play book, (the cartoon version). Have a psychopathic and narcissistic personality. Bullying, cajoling, nepotism, conning, bribing, stealing, propaganda, disparage accredited science and support weird science, playing to the supposed down trodden, getting rid of your enemies and all who are against you or disagree with you. Blame and target a group or groups of people for all that is wrong with your version of society or just as a distraction. Rewrite the truth to your truth and rewrite history.

It is all there in this limited series. Though Trump did not go so far as out right murder (per se) or genocide, he did however carry out 'doublespeak' in support of those he deemed worthy of their horrific actions. And he did try to do the next best thing through the DOJ & SCUS.

Think House of Cards. Trump's personality is such that he can convince himself that anything he chooses to do can be justified. I don't think he would reach for murder as a first resort. That just isn't something that is part of his Weltanschauung. But he wouldn't  balk at murder for any moral reasons and if circumstances convinced him that this was the path of least resistance, he wouldn't have any problem with it. What he would do is justify it by going through the steps of convincing himself that the victim deserved to die and there isn't really anything wrong with removing her.

The question of is there anything Trump's crazies won't do to help him get revenge has been answered 😂

Trump booed at Georgia rally for suggesting Democrat Stacey Abrams "might be better than having Governor Brian Kemp" (who certified the election in that state).

rally

I guess no one told Donald the Maga train hates a democratic black woman far more than they care about his stupid problems.

EDIT: updated with correct video link
