kingdragonfly: Is there a phrase exponentially worse than "sore loser"?

How about 'core loser'?
I'm certain that DJT was told he was a loser, so often and from such an early age, that, subconsciously he believes this to be true. Ergo, he cannot allow himself to succeed.
Also, he only rails half-heartedly at his detractors, because, deep down, he agrees with them. 'You must hate Trump!' he told Barr, almost conversationally.
However, when he's in front of a mob of screaming, raving fans, the approval volume is at such a level that it overcomes his self doubts and he soaks up the adoration like a sunflower.

TRUMP CLAIMS VICTORY IN GERMAN ELECTION
PALM BEACH (The Borowitz Report)—Urging the German people to “stop the steal,” Donald J. Trump announced that he was elected Chancellor of Germany over the weekend.
He said that, once the official vote tallies have been recounted by Cyber Ninjas, it will be clear that he won the German election by a “landslide.”
Reflecting on his win, Trump said, “I’ve always wanted to be Chancellor of Germany. This title has been held by some very fine people.”
He revealed that he planned to send Rudy Giuliani and Justice Brett Kavanaugh to Germany to contest the election results. “Rudy hasn’t been disbarred there yet,” Trump said.
For his part, Kavanaugh relished the chance to carry out a mission on his benefactor's behalf. “I can’t wait to get to Germany,” he said. “When does Oktoberfest start?”

Red Covid: Covid’s partisan pattern is growing more extreme.
Since Delta began circulating widely in the U.S., Covid has exacted a horrific death toll on red America: In counties where Donald Trump received at least 70 percent of the vote, the virus has killed about 47 out of every 100,000 people since the end of June [...]. In counties where Trump won less than 32 percent of the vote, the number is about 10 out of 100,000. And the gap will probably keep growing.
Just finished reading Peril. Holy crap, Trump behaved like The Incredible Sulk when he lost. He burned a lot of bridges with how he treated people (especially Michael Pence).
He was actually (initially) going to concede, but then the crazies (Rudy, the My Pillow clown and Sidney I-think-I-have-a-case) took over and he started with the whole election fraud and "it was stolen" bs.

Welcome to America, 2021. How pathetic.
The Washington Post - As Trump hints at 2024 comeback, democracy advocates fear a ‘worst-case scenario’ for the country
today
In recent weeks, Trump has maneuvered to firmly establish himself as the predominant and most powerful figure in Republican politics.
He has injected his voice into federal and state campaigns, endorsing several secretary of state candidates who embraced his false fraud claims and worked to overturn the results of the 2020 election.
And while still banned from Twitter, he has issued a flurry of angry tweet-like statements through his political action committee.
He has also re-emerged at rallies, appearing last Saturday in Perry, Ga., with another rally planned for Oct. 9, at the Iowa State Fairgrounds in Des Moines.
Speaking in Perry, the former president promised to “make America great again” and called for “an earth-shattering win in November 2022,” before looking ahead to the next presidential election.
“We’re not forgetting 2020,” Trump said. “The most corrupt election in the history of our country. Most corrupt election in the history of most countries, to be followed by an even more glorious victory in November of 2024.” ...
