kingdragonfly: "I don't know if he will even be healthy enough to run in 2024, and I think he needs to come clean to the American people about where he is on that before getting into a very stressful and strenuous race for the White House,"
He's a (wannabe) strongman, he'll never do that since it would be admitting weakness. Look at the well-documented lengths the Soviet gerontocracy went to to conceal their health problems, or the less-well-documented but at least well-known issues of dictators who weren't seen in public for months or even years but were still officially running things because to not be running things would be unthinkable.

Roosevelt, Eisenhower, JFK, or probably more relevant to Trump, Reagan's - obvious to anybody except a Republican Dr - mental decline (with associated - but not diagnostically certain for Alzheimer's - very obvious essential tremor).
neb: Meh, even our cat is richer than Trump:
Wow, just looked it up. So one of those Zimbabwean $10,000,000,000,000 notes will fetch only $US 0.40c? Almost inflated as Trump's ego :-)

I read Omarosa's book, very interesting critique of Trump in the White House. Of course, because she didn't say nice things about him he immediately denounced it.
Oh it's a Joe Biden/Democrat thing, therefore it's awful. Never mind that Trump (to his credit) actually started the whole programme - one good thing he did before he left office.
Hell, even Trump himself told supporters at a rally to get vaccinated and he got booed too. Ridiculous!
Of course, those idiots would be the first demanding a hospital bed if they actually got sick with coronavirus. Then they might demand the vaccine (which, sadly, has happened too).

Not necessarily. Some of them die denying they're dying of Covid:
Doctor who has lost over 100 patients to covid says some deny virus from their death beds: ‘I don’t believe you’.
He wrote about a critically ill patient who disputed his covid-19 diagnosis. Another threatened to call his lawyer if he wasn’t given ivermectin, an anti-parasite drug that is not approved for treating covid. A third, Trunsky wrote, told the doctor they would rather die than take one of the vaccines. One demanded a different doctor, “I don’t believe you,” he told the physician.
Unfortunately, you can't fix stupidity.

The Guardian - Trump seeking to elevate Republicans who refuse to accept Biden victory
04 Oct 2021
Donald Trump and allies are seeding one of their most dangerous efforts to undermine US elections to date, seeking to elevate candidates who refuse to accept Joe Biden’s victory in 2020 to crucial offices where they could do significant damage in overturning the 2024 elections.
The former president has endorsed several Republican candidates running to be the secretary of state, the chief election official, in their respective states.
If elected, these candidates would wield enormous power over elections, and could both implement policies that would make it harder for Americans to cast a ballot and block the official certification of election results afterwards.
Ten of the 15 candidates running for secretary of state in the battleground states of Arizona, Georgia, Wisconsin, Michigan and Nevada have either said the 2020 results were stolen or that they need to be further investigated, Reuters reported earlier this month.
The endorsements from the former president underscore the enormous power that secretaries of state have over election rules and procedures, both before and after the election. ...

Good stuff, yet another moron (one of Trump's cronies) who spoke at his January 6, uh, "rally" is rightly getting what he deserves. Throw the book at him, then throw him in jail, where he belongs, along with his BFF Rudy (also pictured).
I also partly think he should be thrown in jail because of (a) that God-awful shirt and (b) that ridiculous hat.
