Another lie exposed. I wonder when those who voted for him will start wondering just what they voted for.

As many predicted Trump is dialling back on the rhetoric. Given he is more pragmatic than idealistic, he might actually be quite a good president.

I did mention I'm not too fussed about the mad guy but did anyone watch the hail trump (complete with salute) video? I mean I don't believe he is directly involved but still ... wth!
Shocking that there are still people who have not adopted the Groupthink and hold alternative views that might be unpalatable?
If you look at human society over the last 1000 years, it's been nicey-nicey liberal for perhaps 50 of them...! All that is happening is that the veneer is cracking and normal service is about to be resumed.
None of this is a surprise to me - if you force people not to say certain things and not to do certain things, and their brains tell them that those things are good not bad, eventually the suppression will fail.
I'm not endorsing any particular views - merely saying that it does not surprise me to see this sort of thing coming back. Life is cyclical and just now the left and centre left is out of favour across the world.

That doesn't feel like a lie to me. That feels like something he said that he later determined was not going to do any good. Obama has all but said he would pardon her, so it would achieve nothing. He needs to concentrate on the battles he can win.
It is a lie. People voted for him because of things he promised. One thing he promised, which got him a lot of approval at his rallies, was to prosecute Clinton with the most probable outcome of that being a criminal conviction. He repeated stated that, in no uncertain terms. It became a rallying cry.
So now that he has been elected, suddenly it is not such a big deal any more. For my part, I never thought for a moment that it was a big deal, but the rednecks who voted for him did so because they thought he would be different, and not do things like every other politician. I think they are in for a big disappointment.

It's hardly a big deal. Clinton in or out of jail makes no difference to most people and it certainly has nothing to do with making America great again.
I still dont quite understand what Clinton has done that is so wrong....feels like fake news to me.
FBI assisted her to fail in her bid to be President, yet concluded for the second time not to charge her with anything. Sure she made a mistake and has admitted to that which was probably bad advice from the State Dept IT Dept. We have Wikileaks/Russians actually stealing confidential documents in their millions and publishing them..but seem to be hero's!!!!
The world is becoming increasingly weird.
Don't worry about Hillary, she won't be locked up! Right now she will be looking for a new job (she is a workaholic!). I'm thinking that a senior role at Microsoft would be a good fit. Maybe a title such as 'VP Windows 10 Consumer Trust and Reputation.'
joker97: At the end it says it is highly unlikely to happen unless the republicans who control the Senate and the House really wants to do so.
Impeaching him doesn't mean they get a Democrat for a president - Pence would take over. And that may be far more palatable to the republicans who hold both the house and the senate, particularly how many of them Trump has attacked.

WikiLeaks are losing credibility fast - which is a shame because we really need organisations like them, but they need to remain impartial. Lots that has been leaked by WikiLeaks has been done so in a manner without the proper context and with commentary that suits Assange's personal narrative. Many of the statements he's released and the assertions made within have been debunked once additional context is added showing a totally different, and far less sinister angle.
The timing and the comments were blatant that Assange's goal was to hurt Hillary's campaign. Perhaps he feels Hillary is in part responsible for his personal predicament and was feeling vengeful. In any case, he's doing himself and everyone else no favours. Kim Dotcom was the same - actively campaigning against Hillary as he feels she's in part to blame for his situation, but both for some reason thinking Trump will be their saving grace? He's more likely to accelerate their transfers to gitmo!

Geektastic:
He won't be impeached, at least for some time as the GOP control both houses and so unless they have a death wish, they won't allow it.
Yup... he's appeased the GOP by appointing GOP Establishment people to his Administration. He'll be fine so long as he behaves.

Umm what do you expect when Wikileaks operates from Putin's house ...
People sure are quick to forget the valuable things Wikileaks has done, and the life-long costs of this to Julian Assange. You don't have to like the guy or to agree with him to acknowledge that he has put himself on the line. How many of the rest of us would?

I thought part of "Make America Great Again" was that the crooked officials like "Crooked Hillary" would be held to account, and therefore clean up corruption in the govt?
(Is it a coincidence that the acronym is MAGA, which is a Nigerian word for victim, especially in the context of a scam?)
