Dead right, mate. And we all know that the only way to get rid of roaches is to hire an exterminator.

Primaries underway today. Has Trump still got pulling power?
And Madison the dropkick looks like he's going to lose? Awesome! 👍
And he's gone!
Sensational. Now hopefully they can get someone in there who works for the people, not spends his time seeking attention on Instagram.
The Washington Post - Opinion - It is time for the old guard to step aside
17 May 2022
Donald Trump, 75, and Joe Biden, 79, are threatening to run in 2024. ...
If Biden were to win reelection, he’d be 82 at the start of his second term.
Already, he’s showing distinct signs of age that are, with all due respect, plainly worsening.
Perhaps Biden doesn’t really intend to run again and is only trying to steady the troops.
But another run in 2024 likely would be a painful and possibly sad spectacle. ...
If he prevailed, Trump would be 78, a year younger than Biden is now.
Halfway into his term, however, he’d be 80 and a ripe 82 before he finishes, assuming he does.
Perhaps, he, too, is swaggering simply to keep himself in rallies and headlines - and to keep MAGA unified.
But who would wish to be governed by an even-stranger elderly Trump through another terrifying four years?
(It’s a rhetorical question; please don’t answer.)
Sideface
My query is if not those two, who? I can imagine Ron De Santis on the Republican side might have a half-decent shot, but who in the Democrats? Bernie's already quite close in age to Joe as it is (in fact, he's a year older). Would Kamala stand a chance?
quickymart:And he's gone!
No he's not:
“I received a call from Congressman Cawthorn just a few of minutes ago, just as I expected he presented himself in a very classy and humble way
Obviously that wasn't actually Madison Cawthorn he was talking to. Who knows what the real one is up to.
Good point. I was expecting him to (figuratively, not literally) be jumping up and down screaming election fraud but maybe he realises he lost and he's already flogging a dead horse.
I wonder if that Oz bloke will win, or someone who knows what they're doing.
Cawthorn is such a total slimeball he's likely to try his hand as a DEM. Don't forget he's the guy that accused his GOP colleagues of running cocaine-fueled orgies.

Wouldn't surprise me if the wheelchair's only a prop that he dumps soon as he gets home.

kingdragonfly: The whole "wheelchair" story is bizarre, as you'd expect.
In college, female students were warned not to get into his car. If the woman refused his aggressive passes, he'd retaliate by driving like a mad man.
The immediate cause of his accident is he was driving like an idiot, with his best friend, a guy. His friend dragged him out of the burning car and saved his life. He lied and told people either (1) his friend was driving and responsible or (2) he was in military action "stolen valor"
He also blamed the wheelchair for his failure to get into a military school. In fact, he had already been rejected before the accident.
So yeah, a real piece of work.
So very much Trump material.
I bet he has a very golden tanned tongue.

The story I heard was he was a passenger in a car with a mate who was driving, and he had his feet up on the dashboard (as some people do, but it's not a smart idea). The car crashed and he ended up in the wheelchair as a result. His friend dragged him from the burning car and saved his life but he still sued him. Never mind if he hadn't been sitting like that in the first place it probably would have had a better outcome for him.
