Ah, that makes sense. Hey, the book isn't recent - published 2018 - but I don't think there are any fresh details of Trump's lunacy that could be added to cover the last four years. However, if Rick Wilson writes a follow-up, I'll buy it, sight unseen. Here's a taste of the content, although he's only just warming up!

Page 1:

"If you're like me, the Trump presidency has turned you a light sleeper.

Admit it. Some nights, when the world is quiet but your mind is racing, you check Twitter to see if he's started a nuclear war. Each morning, strung out from the fever dreams of Donald Trump and Steve Bannon performing a nude interpretive dance of Stephen Miller's 'Triumph of the Wall', you wake up wondering if today's the day he's seen wandering naked on the White House lawn, screaming at the clouds.

Come on. You know you've done it.

It's because you're struggling, like the vast majority of Americans, with the fact that our terrible, sloppy, shambolic President may just be insane. Not 'Haha, he's so crazy' or 'He's pretending to be crazy, but it's "87-dimensional quantum chess " crazy, but legitimately, clinically insane. I'd have to look up the DSM-V category to be more precise, but the term of psychiatric art I'm looking for is "shithouse-rat crazy".

And so on. As I said he's just warming up at this point 😜

Trump crowned? No faux King way!

A number of psychiatrists have responded to this book (which has been updated since 2018).

The consensus "professional opinion" is that Trump is not merely a “crazy” man starring in a "Wacko White House Reality Show."

It's worse than that.

Trump has a severe personality disorder - Narcissism * - which makes him extremely dangerous and unpredictable when in a position of power.

And Trump is waiting for his Second Coming.  💀

* Trump meets all of the DSM-5 diagnostic criteria for Narcissism

Oh dear. How sad. Never mind.

Also: Ron De Santis mimicking Trump? Where would have gotten an idea like that from? 😃 https://www.rollingstone.com/politics/politics-news/trump-desantis-rip-off-complaints-1234583383/

WOW just WOW - he fore fills all the diagnostic criteria. Not 5 of 9 but 9 of 9. It is almost as if the disorder was written just based on him. Of course that is not good science but.

He is the POSTER CHILD of this disorder, which of course he would like.

Whilst the difficult we can do immediately, the impossible takes a bit longer. However, miracles you will have to wait for.

He would be proud to get 9 out of 9 for any test! The best result!

Indeed he is, but Trump has taken it further:

Psychology Today - Malignant Narcissism: Does the President Have It?    (22 May 2020)

"Malignant Narcissism" is a step beyond Narcissistic Personality Disorder -

Malignant Narcissism is considered a combination of: Narcissistic Personality Disorder, PLUS sociopathy (antisocial personality traits), PLUS paranoia (unrealistic fears), PLUS sadism (a pleasure in harming others).

If we add these three diagnostic criteria, Trump scores 12 out of 12.

I think there have been studies that psychopaths tend to rise to the top of their chosen fields of endeavour. Not because they are better, but because they have fewer restraints. The reason Trump gets away with things that would sink any other politician is because he does things no other politician would consider. If you listen to him speak extemporaneously, he rambles incoherently but peppers his talk with verbal emojis that act as triggers to his audience. He insults military families, minorities, the disabled, anyone and anything that crosses his narrow attention path and his fans think he is being daring when he is actually just farting with his mouth.

Touches on how Madison Cawthron probably lost because of homophobia, not fascism lying, and possible scams.

Also how Republicans planning to contest any election they lose. Of course it's all stuff we already know, but as always somehow worse than we suspected.

The Loser Madison Cawthron, A Loser, Loses Election

Some Some More News Clips

Interesting that Fox reported Truth Social financial troubles first.

Hopefully Rupert Murdoch will put Trump in a deathroll. They deserve each other.

DR. OZ CLAIMS EATING CLASSIFIED DOCUMENTS ESSENTIAL TO TRUMP’S NEW HEALTH REGIME

PITTSBURGH (The Borowitz Report)—Eating classified documents was “an essential part of President Donald Trump’s super-healthy diet,” Dr. Mehmet Oz has claimed.

Oz, the longtime television host and, more recently, Pennsylvania’s G.O.P. nominee for the U.S. Senate, said that “classified documents, including the nuclear codes, provided the roughage necessary to keep President Trump’s digestive system churning at the highest level of efficiency.”

Speaking at a campaign stop in Pittsburgh, Oz said that Trump’s diet consisted of “the four food groups: the hamburger group, the ketchup group, the Coca-Cola group, and the classified-documents group.”

“Looking at President Trump, you might wonder what miracle diet made him such a fine physical specimen,” Oz said. “It turns out that national-security documents are not only loaded with secrets—they’re chock-full of fiber.”

There's nothing like threats of violence and whataboutism to legitimize your claims as the "law and order" credentials.

Senator Lindsay Graham forgets to mention that Trump insisted on changing the law around mishandling classified documents from a misdemeanor to a felony. Karma's a bitch. "Lock him up"

New York Times: Graham Predicts ‘Riots in the Streets’ if Trump Is Prosecuted

Senator Lindsey Graham’s prediction on Sunday that a prosecution of former President Donald J. Trump would lead to “riots in the streets” added an element of menace to the fraught decisions facing Justice Department officials as they consider next steps in the investigation of Mr. Trump’s handling of classified material.

Mr. Graham, a South Carolina Republican who moved from a fierce critic of Mr. Trump to a loyal companion, appeared on Fox News, drawing a comparison between the investigation of Mr. Trump and the Justice Department’s decision in 2016 not to prosecute Hillary Clinton for using a private server for State Department communications. In 2019, a State Department inquiry into the server concluded, “There was no persuasive evidence of systemic, deliberate mishandling of classified information.”
