Doesn't surprise me at all, I'm assuming swing voters are interested in actual issues, not a conspiracy theory so farcical that it'd be rejected if someone instead presented it as a B-grade movie plot. It sort of works in reverse to the way you're thinking, for diehard Retrumplicans belief in each and every conspiracy theory is mandatory, not the other way round.

Calling special counsel Jack Smith a “thug”, Mr Trump also attacked the prosecutor’s wife.

“Jack Smith(?), is a Trump Hating THUG whose wife is a serial and open Trump Hater, whose friends & other family members are even worse” ...

Mr Smith was appointed by US Attorney General Merrick Garland to take over the investigation into classified documents found at Mr Trump’s Florida estate, as well as the US government’s investigation into the January 6 attack on the US Capitol.

“I beat the Fake Impeachments, the disgraceful Mueller Persecution, and much else that the Fake News doesn’t want to write or talk about, but this charade MUST STOP NOW!!!” ...

“His conflicts, unfairness, and mental state of derangement make him totally unfit for the job of 'getting Trump.' Go after Biden and the Biden Crime Family instead” ...

I bet that Jack Smith doesn't actually personally hate Trump at all, he's just doing what he's been asked to do by the Justice Department. As usual though, Trump makes everything personal. He's quite poor at separating the artist from the art.

Trump manages to be both infantile and pathological. He is neither rational nor coherent. He is petty and nasty. He belongs in an institution, preferably penal but psychiatric is also appropriate. The only good thing about his constant rantings for attention are that even his ardent supporters are being turned off. When the media finally stop paying attention to him we can all move beyond this whole humiliating pencil dot of history and get back to dealing with real issues. Trump is an irrelevance, a snot blob of blubbering nothingness. Shut the door and forget about him.

Whilst the difficult we can do immediately, the impossible takes a bit longer. However, miracles you will have to wait for.

Trump: “I capitalize certain words only for emphasis, not b/c they should be capitalized!”
