Sadly, he's the minority in today's Republican party.

Like I said, even if Trump keeled over tomorrow he's started a "movement" (of sorts). But in the event he did, who would become their Dear Leader then?

Movement implies a direction. There's only one movement for Trump, and anyone who lives in his world.

Politico: Trump crowns Ramaswamy the debate’s winner — for praising him

Former President Donald Trump crowned tech entrepreneur Vivek Ramaswamy the winner of the Republican presidential debate Wednesday night — for singing his praises.

“President Trump, I believe, was the best president of the 21st century,” Ramaswamy said in a clip from the debate Trump posted on Truth Social.

Trump, who opted out of the debate and instead had an interview with commentator Tucker Carlson air on social media, said it was a good move by the 38-year-old political newcomer.

“This answer gave Vivek Ramaswamy a big WIN in the debate because of a thing called TRUTH. Thank you Vivek!”

It wasn’t Ramaswamy’s only instance defending Trump during the debate. He was also the first candidate to raise their hand when asked who would support the former president as the party nominee if he is convicted on any of the felony charges that he’s facing.

“Join me in making a commitment that one day you would pardon Donald Trump,” Ramaswamy challenged former Vice President Mike Pence, who mostly dodged the question.

How many more (or less) people actually watched Trump's "interview" with Carlson on Twitter, as opposed to numbers watching the actual debate on Fox? Or were the numbers fairly similar?

CNN: Donald Trump surrenders in Atlanta in fourth criminal case brought against ex-president this year

Donald Trump has surrendered at the Fulton County jail on more than a dozen charges stemming from his efforts to reverse Georgia’s 2020 election results, the fourth time this year the former president has faced criminal charges.

Trump departed from his Bedminster, New Jersey, golf club and landed in Atlanta Thursday evening to turn himself in at the notorious Fulton County jail.

Like most of his 18 co-defendants in the sprawling racketeering case who have already surrendered at the jail, Trump’s processing through the facility will likely be completed quickly because the former president and his lawyers have already negotiated his consent bond agreement. Trump agreed to a $200,000 bond and other release conditions, including not using social media to target the co-defendants and witnesses in the case.

EDIT: That weight is 24 pounds less than the White House doctor reported Trump weighing in 2018.
