The former president has talked regularly with members of the House Freedom Caucus and other congressional Republicans who pushed for impeachment.

He's so predictable ...  🙄

People laugh at Trump's clownish ineptitude but he is a thoroughly despicable individual. If a child in a wheelchair tumbled down the Capitol steps he would laugh. He is a horrible human being.

Trump is just nasty. He has made nastiness into a perverted art form. He delights in the misery of others. He is utterly lacking any semblance of empathy. He is petty in the extreme. He is just a complete jerk, to put it in American terms.

I hope he does go to jail. I don't know how likely that actually is but I truly hope so. Never has anyone been more deserving of such a fate.
