Like everyone else here, I have no secret knowledge of him and I am reluctant to mock anyone, even him, for disabilities they can't control. My own uninformed guess is that he has the acquired laziness and corresponding impatience that comes from a lifetime of having every whim catered to. I suspect he has average (certainly not exceptional) intelligence and ordinary reading comprehension but usually can't be bothered because he can rely on others to do the demanding things for him. It does appear that age and neglectful lifestyle are cutting into his cognitive abilities. I think he is probably exhibiting signs of dementia.

The MAGA crowd would turn that argument back on you and point to Biden as being the one having dementia, etc.

But Biden takes far better care of his health than Trump does.

You wouldn't see TRUMP! TRUMP! TRUMP! fall off a bike.

He'd have someone else riding it for him, then announce that he was a very stable, basically world-class rider.

Did his aide not pull the tab on his can of coke and pour a glass for him?
How do you open these stupid things!

It could be from continually rubbing something very small due to a lack of gratification from other avenues.

Whilst the difficult we can do immediately, the impossible takes a bit longer. However, miracles you will have to wait for.

I think you're mistaking Trump for someone who needs our pity and understanding. He's a monster who'd be a second Hitler if he had the balls.

Trump has cultivated a vile persona that he is quite proud of, 'they just let you do it', 'I like Veterans that were not captured' .
The tirade of insults and invective he heaps on others.
So yeah its long past pity.

At 6.30 onwards the mic caught a fart.
Ai analysis has not been able to confirm if it was wet or dry.

The hands, it was reported in the trial to access damages,
that Trump was furiously taking and handing notes to his lawyer.
As well as muttering that could be heard by jury he did slam his hands on the desk.
Possibly grazing his hands on something on the desk, a big fat pen or something.
Maybe grip of death and anger on that pen while scribbling trying to remember what words look like ?

Oh the issue is not his health problems so much, as his appalling treatment of others.
Never reluctant to amplify and create shortcomings or disability in others to mock and humiliate them.
Kinda kills your ability to empathize.

I don't need to empathise to not want to lower myself to that level. I am not prepared to allow the behaviour of a detestable individual to dictate the way I treat others, even him.

Would you be willing to torture someone who tortures others? I would not. Either you have standards you won't compromise, or you don't.

Trump is a seriously deformed human being who belongs in an institution, preferably prison. I am happy to do everything I can to make him look ridiculous and to undermine his credibility and authority. I just am not willing to let his behaviour dictate my own. How can I condemn him if I act exactly as he does? How can anyone then tell the difference between us?

RawStory - Expert says Trump is perfecting 'deep state' defense in Carroll case

19 Jan 2024

Former President Donald Trump is perfecting a “deep state” defense in the defamation case brought by E. Jean Carroll that may prove successful in his ultimate battle to reclaim the White House, a legal expert said Friday.

"For his core supporters, backing down is for losers,” NYU law professor Stephen Gillers told Newsweek.*  "He may yet prevail.” ...

And while legal experts casting keen eyes on his attorney Alina Habba - who they say is regularly breaking basic rules of courtroom decorum - predict the former president faces a big payout, Gillers argues this is not a problem for Trump.

When he predictably loses,” Gillers said, “he will claim he is the victim of the deep state.”

What matters is not backing down, he added.

@SJB I have removed your comment. It was defamatory and unless you have evidence and post it here, don't try it again.

@quickymart your supporting comment is unacceptable.
