Wiggum:

And liberalism is a mental disorder.... tongue-out

This adds nothing to the topic. It's not a discussion about liberalism or a comparison of liberalism vs conservatism.

Dumb computer algorithms - serving me up this ad on this page after I've more or less stated I don't care much for the concept of "IQ testing":

Bugger. LOL I went through it just for fun, only to get to the end and they want to charge me $19.99 to see my results. So glad I'm using an adblocker.

It is perfectly possible to be conservative without being religious, is it not?

Geektastic: It is perfectly possible to be conservative without being religious, is it not?

I suspect it depends on the definition of conservative.

I'm a geek, a gamer, a dad, a Quic user, and an IT Professional. I have a full rack home lab, size 15 feet, an epic beard and Asperger's. I'm a bit of a Cypherpunk, who believes information wants to be free and the Net interprets censorship as damage and routes around it. If you use my Quic signup you can also use the code R570394EKGIZ8 for free setup. Opinions are my own and not the views of my employer.

Just because someone quotes the bible doesn't make them religious. Just because someone espouses conservative values doesn't mean they live by them. There is plenty of room on the axes for hypocrisy and deception.

Does this mean that people other than me think religion is a mental illness now? ;-P

I can only offer an anecdote - in the average secure psych ward there are more people who insist they're Jesus - than there are people who think they're Elvis.

That's a pretty rational claim. There's a lot of evidence about the life of Elvis and what he looked like but precious little evidence about Jesus and his true identity.

So one of them could really be Jesus. Which would mean the rest are just .................not jesus

If IQ tests are really important to you, then like most other things, you can study them and practice them every day until you get better at them. Many IQ questions follow a pattern that can be learned and mastered and if you do enough different IQ tests, you can become an expert in doing IQ tests. Does this really make you a better and more intelligent person, I doubt it somehow!
