You completely miss my point but maybe that is the point. Female victims of sexual assault have been subjected to humiliating and abusive questioning by defense lawyers and police for years trying to quantify the extent of their degradation. If you are violated does it make it worse if you were also bitten? how much worse than utterly horrible is it possible to feel?

I didn't miss your point, unless your point is something other than what you wrote. I disagree with what you wrote. I believe if you were raped and bitten, you'd feel worse than if only one or the other.

These replies aren't shocking, really.

The thread about the sexual assaults at Labour’s summer camp has been locked - before the party releases the report (by lawyer Maria Austen on Labour’s handling of the complaints) to the public. Not surprising, really.

Threads lock automatically after 30 days no activity. As above.

Stop trolling with the "not surprising really" comment. You know all threads automatically lock if no activity happens in a couple of weeks.

Trying to create a problem where one does not exist make you look dumb.

Ah. Didn’t actually know about the auto lock thing. (I guess I look stupid)
I wonder when they will release the report. They’ve been accused of cynically releasing unfavourable news late on Friday afternoons quite a lot.

Happy to have provided a moment’s entertainment for you then :-)

Is anyone actually surprised that the report has been sat on until the event is a distant memory? (Measured by thread timeouts on a forum or otherwise?) or is it just me?

Ok. Will do. Perhaps when there is some actual news or update instead of the “lack of news” being the point of interest.

This event has really been a non issue from what I have seen. Nothing was swept under the carpet and the handling seemed to be done correctly. Just not sure any headlines are here.
