Despite being declined approval for a protest march over the Harbour Bridge, the moron wants to go ahead with it anyway, without getting the proper permits for it.

Same crowd probably lose their minds and demand the police arrest everyone in sight if Just Stop Oil or someone similar blocks a street for an hour.

Tamaki advertising his latest attempt for attention after NZTA announces bridge ban:

“Do you like bridge-walking? Come. Do you like big crowds? Do you want to be noisy? Be in the heat of the moment? Get there.” The protest has been heavily advertised on Facebook by the church’s latest offshoot, anti-immigration group True Patriots of NZ, with posts saying “See you on the bridge”.

Tamaki claims there will be three counter-protest groups against him on the day. Tamaki has been trying very hard to gain extra attention by upsetting Sikh religious processions.

Tamaki's protest today looks like a failure. The Herald estimates 1000 attended. Tamaki estimates 8-10000 attended. Tamaki attempted to march the crowd on to the bridge and failed. Police blocked access to the bridge ramp as expected. Tamaki turned the crowd around back to Victoria park:

Definitely a failure as far as I am concerned.

My learning from the media reporting is that a lot of Police resource was required to both keep traffic flowing and law-abiding people safe.

I could probably dig deeper to find out what the protest was about however I can't be bothered.

It's a pity Police can't send them an invoice to cover Police costs for the day.

From what I understand of John Campbell's recent documentary in Destiny Church it's always the woman's fault.
