Now thats contrepreneurial. 

 

Sadly some good people with little knowledge etc were probably roped in, like buying a bible and may have lost a lot of money.

 

I reckon it will bottom out at circa $8.

I thought there was some reason he couldnt sell his stock this early?

If so, I take back the $8, it could just get to penny stocks.

Good name though, Imagine social media you could trust to use ai or similar to combat disinformation, rather than one which promises "free speech" and promotes disinformation.

So he got what, about $110M now? Whilst being well under a Billionaire, its not to be sneezed at for campaign money, although somethng tells m hes going to need it for legals.

Just on the Civil Fraud case, does he still have to pay back the $500m? Id say he wont want to be owing that money. But the judge could seize it before he has used it to pay back bond?

I'm pretty sure he can't sell it till November; it's easy to remember because it's the same month as the election.

However he'll be using it to supplant future account receivables. He may be trying to use its (always falling) future value to get loans.

And yeah, you'd have to be corrupt or stupid to accept the DJT stocks as collateral.

The purpose of the bond is to put an automatic stay on enforcement of the judgement whilst the appeal goes through. The idea being that the bond (or his own cash, if he had chosen to do that instead) guarantees he isn't going to take the money and run.

 

Nobody knows why the appeals court reduced the bond from $465M to $175M, because if he loses the appeal he's still on the hook for the $465M, and clearly $175M doesn't cover it. There is some speculation it was reduced because the appeals court doesn't feel that the trial judge Engoron correctly followed their instructions on what acts of fraud could count towards damages and thus at appeal, he might win a reduction (to $175M) but lose the $175M.

 

However there are a lot of potential problems with the bond as posted, which have been objected to by the government. There is a hearing on it in a few days, and Engoron could rule that it is invalid as surety. What happens then I don't know - maybe they go straight into seizure of assets, maybe he gets yet another delay to find another bond (please no!).

 

He's allowed to appeal without a bond. But if he does, the DA will be selling his properties out from under him while he does it. Should he win, the government will pay back in cash - so he will have lost his properties regardless.

Someone should ask Barron whether he wants his father at his graduation. I have no doubt the kid is praying hard for the court to keep his dear dad who cheated on his mum when he was a little baby.

 

Just imagine the disaster and disruption with Trump turning up with his dear wife to the graduation. I would love to see the family photo.

Fun fact - one of the pre-trial rulings already made on the hush money case is that it is not admissible evidence to tell the jury Trump cheated on Melania with a porn star while she was pregnant with Barron.

Not quite, he's a narcissist so if anything it's a superiority complex, he wants to be seen to be bigger and better than anyone else.  Narcissists certainly believe themselves to be superior to everyone around them, and need to be constantly told that.

Not quite, he's a narcissist so if anything it's a superiority complex, he wants to be seen to be bigger and better than anyone else.  Narcissists certainly believe themselves to be superior to everyone around them, and need to be constantly told that.

 

 

Are you kidding? He is so overwhelmed by his feelings of inadequacy that he overcompensates for everything. His is the most classic case of inferiority complex I have ever seen. He is also a narcissist, but that is part of his overcompensation. He deeply needs to be better than everyone else because he knows he really isn't.
