Better than a tape is Trump testifying in his defense, which he really, really wants to do.

The second best way for Trump to lose: follow Trump's lawyers follow Trump's instructions.

Example: New York civil fraud case lawyer Alina Habba following Trump's instructions and Trump’s likely loss of $355 million, plus $100 million in interest, plus around $3 million defending himself.

As usual, Trump's ego is blinding him to the smart moves.

I can see Trump playing chess, and announcing at opening: "I'm going to win by just using the King piece, the smartest piece. What's that over there!" as he moves the King piece across 7 squares, at which point pawns check-mate him.

Trump makes EPIC miscalculation with jury at NY trial

Yeah, that US$ 9,000 will make a huuuuge difference.

Should've been sent to county jail for a couple of nights during the weekend. That'd teach him.

Judge is trying to walk a tightrope between keeping order and making Trump into a martyr. His ruling lamented he wasn't allowed to fine Trump $150,000 per instance. He'll probably rule fines for the next hearing too, since these next 4 instances occurred before he handed down the ruling on the first 10. But after that, maybe we will see Trump on the inside of a jail cell.

Wouldn't that be amazing? Maybe he'll learn to keep his big, lying mouth shut a bit more then.

Who am I kidding, the arrogant so-and-so won't change anything 🙄

I disagree. All his life he has been able to bully, threaten, abuse the courts, etc etc to get his way.
I think as soon as he hits that wall and ends up in prison it will be a MASSIVE blow to his entire ego and sense of entitlement I am not sure he will recover

He has finally taken on someone bigger and stronger, rather than smaller and weaker than him, and he will lose.

I'll give it three days before he breaks the mobster-style gag order.

He had lots of yokels who wanted to see the freak show attraction.

Politico: Trump, free from court, finds ‘a little fun on the campaign trail’
...
Addressing crowds in Wisconsin and Michigan on Wednesday, Trump called the New York judge in his case “crooked,” “corrupt” and “totally conflicted.” He called the trial “fake,” “bullshit” and part of a “kangaroo court,” while taking care not to disparage witnesses in the proceedings after being found in contempt of court on Tuesday for having done so recently.
....
He suggested that pro-Palestinan college protesters are paid actors, decried electric cars and a “plunging” economy under President Joe Biden and discussed whether New Jersey governor Chris Christie is a “fat pig.”

Christie may be fat but Trump is clearly the pig!

I think Trump's "get aggressive" orders to lawyers will play badly with the jury, in particular attacking the believable female sex partners, and attacking the jury pool.

If the lawyer follows his orders, it'll get Trump a criminal conviction, and hopefully cost him the election.

Attacking the judge's daughter early certainly did him no favors.

I mean really, is a video of Trump eating a human leg and saying "I love human flesh" what's needed to get half of Americans to reconsider him as presidential material.

New York Times: Trump, Venting About Lawyer in His Criminal Trial, Seeks More Aggression

Todd Blanche upended his career to represent Donald J. Trump, and has been called a true believer in his innocence

Donald J. Trump’s Manhattan criminal trial had barely begun when he started to turn his anger toward his lead lawyer, Todd Blanche.

Although Mr. Blanche has been Mr. Trump’s favorite lawyer for some time, behind closed doors and in phone calls, the former president has complained repeatedly about him in recent weeks, according to four people familiar with the situation.

He has griped that Mr. Blanche, a former federal prosecutor and veteran litigator, has not been following his instructions closely, and has been insufficiently aggressive. Mr. Trump wants him to attack witnesses, attack what the former president sees as a hostile jury pool, and attack the judge, Juan M. Merchan.

If he loses he'll just appeal like he always does, and if he loses there he'll appeal to the Supreme Court, just like he always does, and if he loses there he'll ignore any ruling, just like he always does, and blah blah blah...

hate the fact that even when he is held accountable he tries to dodge his responsibility as much as possible, all the while playing up to his adoring (heavily grifted) base of fans 😠
