gzt: Trump saying his autocue is unreadable and he's not going to pay whoever installed it.

Just business as usual.  He's been using that one for 40 years.  Nothing is ever his fault.  😬

I have my doubts he was going to pay for it anyway...

gzt: Trump finishes a long rant about electric boats with a segue into an anti-trans story and a few rhetorical questions for the audience:

Who wants open borders?

Who wants men playing in women's sport?

Who wants electric cars?

So his golf cart is not electric ?

gzt: The song by Oscar Brown Jr was originally released as part of a civil rights album CNN: "The elephant in the room is that Trump is the living embodiment of the snake that my father wrote about in that song," Brown said. "It's a political agenda that deals with separatism, racism, sexism, and it's kind of thing that's polar opposite to what Oscar Brown Jr. was about," said Maggie Brown, daughter of Oscar Brown Jr.

Trump interpreting a rock song lyrics incorrectly. He wanted tp dehumanize Syrian refugees.

Washington Post from before he was president: Here are 12 other times Donald Trump vilified illegal immigrants

I think Trump supporters should be singing this song. It was traditionally to raise frogs as food in the Southeastern US.

'Cause you can't get more of a snake than Trump.

Sonny Boy Williamson "Fattening Frogs For Snakes"

Rikkitic:

Trump is shameless but he is also a certifiable moron. He genuinely has no idea how transparently obvious his pathetic attempts to identify himself with religious zealots and other potential supporters is.

Unfortunately, neither do they.

Same comments could easily be applied to Lauren Boebert: https://www.newsweek.com/lauren-boebert-ten-commandments-hypocrisy-1915896

Newsweek  -  'Hypocrisy' Over Ten Commandments Comments  (21 June 2024)

A reader's response :

Lets see how Trump fits with the Ten Commandments:

1. You shall have no other Gods before me.

Trump cult members worship him like a god to the extent that they created a golden Trump statue to bow before.

2. Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven images.

Who can forget the golden Trump statue at the CPAC convention.

3. Thou shalt not take the name of the Lord thy God in vain.

Every time Trump speaks of God he takes his name in vain.

4. Remember the Sabbath day and keep it Holy.

How many times have we seen Trump attend church in the last 6 years?

5. Honor your father and mother.

When Trump's father was dying Trump did not come to his bedside. At Fred Trump's funeral Donald’s eulogy was all about Donald, bragging about how great his business was doing.

6. Thou shalt not kill.

He tried to kill Mike Pence and other members of Congress in the January 6th Insurrection at our nation's Capitol.

7. Thou shalt not commit adultery.

    Trump's most grievous violation.

8. Thou shalt not steal.

Trump was fined $25 million and forced to shut down his fraudulent university. ... etc. etc.

9. Thou shalt not bear false witness.

Trump constantly breaks the 9th commandment lying about others and claiming he won the 2020 election.

10. Thou shalt not covet your neighbor's goods.

Trump covets everything that he can't get his hands on including the 2020 election, his own daughter and other men's wives.

The Guardian - In Trump we trust: religious right on crusade to make their man president

23 June 2024

God’s army is on the march. And many of its foot soldiers are wearing “Make America great again” regalia, sensing that their unlikely standard-bearer, former US president Donald Trump, is once again close to the promised land. ...

With Trump running ahead of Biden in many swing state polls, religious right voters scent a historic opportunity to impose a radical agenda that could ban abortion nationwide, curb LGBTQ+ rights and blur the separation of church and state. ...

Not even Trump’s conviction in New York last month on 34 felony counts in a trial involving hush-money payments to an adult film star has shaken his grip on this constituency.

Many who complain that their faith is under siege regard him as a blunt instrument with which to fight back against the radical left. ...

I dread the second coming of Trump.  😟

Per his request, the Trump Republican is in my prayers protecting him from striptease performers in his home at 2am. Maybe he should ask for an update to the "castle doctrine" called the "strip club doctrine."

Seriously though, "the Freedom Caucus", also known as the "House Freedom Caucus", is a Republican members of the United States House of Representatives. It is generally considered to be the most conservative and furthest-right Republicans.

NJ.com: Trump-supporting state rep chased stripper from his home with a gun, reports say

When former president Donald Trump was indicted by a Manhattan grand jury, Republican Michigan state representative Neil Friske said it was “outrageous.”

When Michigan Attorney General Dana Nessel’s decided to charge 16 members of the Michigan GOP who allegedly acted as false electors for Trump in 2020, Friske called it “USSR-style persecution.”

So, what will Friske say now that he has been arrested for allegedly chasing a stripper from his home with a gun? Well, we already know, actually: In a Twitter/X post, his campaign called his arrest “highly suspect” and implied it was politically motivated. The statement, released, several hours after his arrest, said the representative “is always exercising his 2nd Amendment right.” The post asked for prayers.

According to reports, Friske was arrested on Thursday by the Lansing Police Department with a gun in his possession at 2:25 a.m. near his home, after he allegedly chased an adult dancer from his home.

The dancer also supposedly works at the Déjà Vu gentlemen’s club in Lansing, which is located close to Friske’s home. The police said they were responding to a shots fired call.
...
He is regarded as a far-right member of the body.

Michigan’s House Freedom Caucus welcomed Friske into its ranks as its secretary.

If you don't know Martin Shkreli's name, he's the one 6 who hiked the price of an old drug for parasitic infections to $750 a pill from $13.50, which was lawful, but went to jail for two counts of securities fraud and one count of conspiracy. He was sentenced to seven years in prison and up to $7.4 million in fines.

Like Roger Stone, he loves the role of villain.

He's also on parole, and one of the conditions of his parole is not getting into business like what's outlined below.

Barron Trump is the 2 meter tall offspring of Trump, who is known because unlike his father, can STFU. I literally have never seen a video of him even saying "I really don't care. Do u?"

New Yorker: Did Barron Trump Really Launch a DJT Crypto Coin With Martin Shkreli?

During an X Spaces event earlier this week, Martin Shkreli claimed that he and Barron Trump are behind a mysterious new Trump-branded cryptocurrency. If you think this sounds like a Mad Libs about some of the most controversial topics of the 21st century, you’re not alone. But is it true? Let’s investigate.

A Trump-themed memecoin was registered on the Solana blockchain platform earlier this week. The coin’s value quickly shot up more than 385 percent, generating more than $363 million in trading volume, following rumors that Donald Trump’s 18-year-old son was behind it. As The New Republic explained, a hefty reward was offered to anyone who could figure out who was really responsible for the DJT token, which led convicted former hedge-fund manager Shkreli to speak up...

Shkreli ... he claimed that he and Trump’s youngest son were behind the coin.
...
Shkreli elaborated during a live X Space event on Wednesday, saying that he had originally been approached by a friend of Barron’s and that Trump’s son was on the 40-to-50-person team behind the coin.

The so-called Pharma Bro said he had formed a friendship with Barron and even advised him on where to go to college.

“We’re friends; he wants to make money,” Shkreli said during the event.

Trump has started to refer to Jan 6 rioters as "Warriors" at most of his rallies.

It seems certain now Trump will pardon many I not all the Jan 6 convicted. Trump will need those people to try the same again if he loses. If Trump wins then he'll try the same again at the end of his term.

I'm sure he will say that he will pardon them, but whether he actually does it is another thing. And not because he might feel any sort of moral duty to look out for those people who worship him. They are "warriors" today while he needs them. Tomorrow they will be "losers" who got caught. He won't care the slightest bit about them.

UFC: The "Ultimate Fighting Championship" is an American mixed martial arts promotion company based in Las Vegas, Nevada

UFC head: Dana White.

The Hill: Trump suggests migrants form fight club
...
“I said, ‘Dana, I have an idea for you to make a lot of money. You’re going to go and start a new migrant fight league, only migrants,” Trump recalled during the rally.

He suggested the migrant league champion and UFC’s champion could ultimately battle each other.

“I think the migrant guy might win, that’s how tough they are. He didn’t like that idea too much, but actually, it’s not the worst idea I’ve had,” Trump told the Christian group. “These people are tough and they’re nasty, mean.”
