gzt: Netanyahu continues to maintain his alternative reality:

Politico: Israeli authorities have been criticized for blocking the delivery of humanitarian assistance by land, but Netanyahu claimed the sea convoy as his idea in the interview, and denied people were starving.

One thing that is clear - Biden's so called red-line will be ignored and there will be a battle in Rafah.

He gets more Trumpian every day. And he knows Biden won't lift a finger.

In a statement, the police said a single shot was fired at a suspect who had "endangered the forces while firing aerial fireworks in their direction".

Israeli forces shoot dead 12-year-old Palestinian who set off firework - BBC News

What sort of world do we live in when a firework is the reason a young boy is shot dead.

Just to add to my previous post, in the article it mentions that the Israeli nut job National Security Minister Ben-Gvir has praised the policeman who fired the shot.

I don't think he even rates our political deplorables thread. He's way beyond that.

This is the fourth time apparently.

Israeli forces raid Gaza City's al-Shifa hospital - BBC News

Those pesky Hammas terrorists just won't go away. But of course total victory is just round the corner.

UN body says Gaza disaster will very soon reach the internationally agreed definition of famine. The two most recent were Somalia and Sudan. Very very bad in other words

Independent: For famine to be declared, at least 20% of the population must be suffering extreme food shortages, with one in three children acutely malnourished and two people out of every 10,000 dying daily from starvation or from malnutrition and disease.

Obviously it is very bad already. Under international law the government of Israel as the occupying power of Gaza today bears responsibility.

It's about time New Zealand sanctioned Netenyahu, his coalition partners, and senior IDF officers. It won't have any practical impact obviously, but it would be an important symbolic action. Much the same as designating (all of) Hamas as a terrorist organisation.

Jared Kushner has praised the “very valuable” potential of Gaza's “waterfront property” and suggested Israel should remove civilians while it “cleans up” the strip

He also said that he thinks Israel should move civilians from Gaza to the Negev desert in southern Israel, and that “with diplomacy” it could be possible to get them into Egypt.

Jared should consider opening a facility to collect the dead bodies, pulverize them, and turn them into fertilizer for golf course greens.

It would further add value to the potential of Gaza's “waterfront property”

I can see now why he made such a success of being Trumps Middle East negotiator when Trump was President.

SaltyNZ: Wow ... what a psychopath.

Jared's Kushner's father and Netanyahu have a relationship that goes way way way back. Netanyahu literally slept in Jared's bed on one visit to Kushner senior.
