Imo promising an Iron Dome is just another thing in the long list of things Trump says like his promise to build a wall. As president his backroom nasties eventually had to explain it to him and guide actually practical evil nasty policies like razor wire and harsh detection that they thought might actually work or just let the crazy stuff that happens when there is no real plan and it's all run on constant drivel.

So what is Iron Dome supposed to do to make a Texan or Floridian feel more secure?
USA does not exactly have a neighbour firing large numbers of small to intermediate size missiles at it.

Would Homer Simpsons Springfield be any more secure with an Iron Dome missile unit in the town square.

Trump is just trying to ramp up fear that your local Church and Home is under direct threat.
Much like the ramping up fear that hordes are crossing the border coming diretly for you.

Iron Dome is not the system to protect against the Nuclear ICBMs that Russia and China have targeting USA.

Just more results of stupidly failing to normalise relations with Cuba. Predictably zero influence is the result. Obama started a slow normalisation. Trump rolled most of it back. Biden hasn't done much to change that.

It just changes literally as Trump voices his thoughts without thinking first.

If he was smarter, he would see the opportunity for Ukr both in resources and now the most experienced and Tech orientated army on the planet, from sea drones to highly advanced aerial drones on the cheap to tech hybrid warfare. There is also a lot of work on other projects that they keep secret. The US has the might. but Ukr has some smarts and ways to do things cheaply if being transactional about it.

anyway back to the courts, I assume nothing has moved along?

You may have heard several conservatives talking about Trump was saved by assassination because he was wearing "the armor of God"

The origin of this is that Trump was shot at 6:11 pm local time

And in the Bible, Ephesians 6:11:

"Put on the armor of God so that you may be able to stand firm against the tactics of the devil."

It is actually taken out of context, and it's all about obedience, and resisting the temptation to fall into the sin of the world surrounding them.

The Republican conveniently forget that a Trump supporter was killed, because he apparently unworthy to be protected by "the armor of God"

Remember they are putting the significance of 6:11 pm.

They also missed this Bible verse at Genesis 6:11, which seems more apt in many ways.

"Now the earth was corrupt in God's sight and was full of violence"

It continues

"God saw how corrupt the earth had become, for all the people on earth had corrupted their ways. So God said to Noah, 'I am going to put an end to all people, for the earth is filled with violence because of them. I am surely going to destroy both them and the earth. So make yourself an ark of cypress wood; make rooms in it and coat it with pitch inside and out."'
