“After watching Fox News this morning we only have one question, is Donald Trump ok?” the statement read. It then offered a list of what the statement described as the main “takeaways Trump gave to the American people.”

“Trump praised his Project 2025,” one takeaway read, referring to the Heritage Foundation’s extremely controversial blueprint for a potential second Trump presidency. Other takeaways included “Trump is flustered and lashing out,” “Praised dictators because he wants to be one,” “Trump is clearly worried he made the wrong pick in J.D. Vance,” and “Trump is old and quite weird?”

“This election is about what America we want to live in,” Harris for President Spokesperson James Singer said in a statement. “An erratic Donald Trump offers only chaos, fear, and hate. Why are so many from Fox or ex Fox. Megan Kelly back on Joe Biden's age uggggh (wait until they bring out Trump falling asleep, slurring words, going silent for minutes, sharks and electric boats ugggh), Tucker Carlson, this world is so unfair when Tucker Carlson gets paid millions to speak.

I cant get through 5 mins of any fox talk show or ex Fox, speak. I put sky news aus in the same bucket.

Its like Democrats have a plethora of running mate candidates, some of whom prob should have been VP some suggest, but regardless boy Trump must have buyers remorse haha.

Is there any chance Trump getting a fairly serious sentencing for the hush money case have any impact to the polls like it did at sentencing? (before the debate etc) I just wonder if it will help fence sitters who had forgotten about the Felonies, back into poling figures....

I see that and the potential release of the "N" word apprentice tape as being two possible mild poll changers? This was bought back into light after his Nephews book release stating Donald would use the word often.

First he has the abc debate on the 10th, 8 days later on the 18th he has his hush money case Sentencing. Whilst Prison is unlikely, I wonder if this could bother him some leading up to it. (FYI, the Judge is deciding by the 6th Sept if he sees any reason to over turn the case, ie any evidence whilst acting as president had any major impact to the case, due to the SCOTUS change giving presidents immunity and no evidence while conducting official duties may be used, ie Hope Hicks evidence)

My perspective is we will get to a point where the base just don't care he's a Rapist and a felon. They believe in toppling the so called deep state. Where imo heritage and project 25 with Trump, that is the real deep state.

Is that going viral on democrats and the anybody but trump Republicans?

If thats not a deep fake, it could do a couple of things, but certainly it spells it out as existential and planning to over turn the constitution. I think he might have to explain this one more than "I didnt mean it literal". Clearly his polling has him worried. Im not sure how much more of his Christian base saying he will "fix it so you dont have to vote again" will have been worth it.

To be honest (IMO) only a small portion of the Black population vote for Trump as it is. If this tape of him using a racial slur is indeed accurate, it will only shrink that tiny amount even further.

It's not like he took 50% of the Black vote in 2020 or anything - this Wikipedia table shows exit polling:

(Blue is for Biden, Red is for Trump, Green is total percentage of the electorate)

During her rise through America’s most prestigious schools, law firms and judicial clerkships, Usha Vance rarely — if ever — volunteered her opinions on the nation’s bitterly partisan politics to friends and colleagues.

But she did express revulsion at former president Donald Trump’s actions on Jan. 6, 2021.

Vance told friends she was outraged by Trump’s incitement of the deadly riot at the U.S. Capitol and lamented the social breakdown that fueled his political support, according to one friend, who spoke on the condition of anonymity to discuss sensitive conversations. Her view at the time contrasts with the later pronouncements of her husband and Trump’s newly minted running mate, JD Vance, who has downplayed the storming of the Capitol and called participants who were jailed “political prisoners.”

“Usha found the incursion on the Capitol and Trump’s role in it to be deeply disturbing,” the friend recalled. “She was generally appalled by Trump, from the moment of his first election.”

Speaking the morning after Usha Vance introduced her husband at the Republican National Convention and watched his speech from the same VIP box as Trump, the friend added, “It was surreal to see her sitting next to him last night.”

That sensation is widely shared among her friends, former co-workers and fellow alumni, more than two dozen of whom spoke to The Washington Post for this story. Some watched in disbelief on July 17 when Usha Vance, 38, addressed an overwhelmingly White crowd on the convention floor that tittered uneasily as she joked about her husband learning to cook Indian food and audibly gasped when she mentioned her vegetarian diet.

Personally Im not comforted if changing how long someone can serve as President, takes 2/3 of both congress and Senate to pass. I dont trust these wriggly little snakes like Trump, Vnce and Johnson (MTG is just batpoop nuts). Im sure their mates have it in the Playbook somewhere with some loop hole in the consitution. I wonder how far Biden will get trying to firm up the SCOTUS rules and if this could be part of what he wanted to work on.
