Couple of Trump-related stories I saw around the place today:

https://www.axios.com/2024/08/31/trump-strategy-harris-undermine-strategy-2024

Typical Trump, advisers say "don't do this" and he turns around and does exactly what they said not to ðŸ™„

https://www.msnbc.com/opinion/msnbc-opinion/trump-arlington-cemetery-employee-initimidation-rcna169063

Good points in this article, the orange buffoon has been about nothing but intimidation since the time he entered politics (and maybe before).

The woman’s fear is entirely reasonable, and not just because an aide to a former president felt emboldened to push her in the first place. Even without her identity being public, Trump campaign's press secretary Steven Cheung accused her of “suffering from a mental health episode.” Trump senior adviser Chris LaCivita, best known for leading the smear of 2004 Democratic nominee John Kerry’s military service, called her a “despicable individual.” And at a Thursday rally, Trump linked the cemetery staff with the prosecutors of the multiple indictments against him — that is, he linked her to people he says have it out for him.

Who exactly is this Cheung guy? Almost every time someone criticises Trump - no matter how big or small the criticism, this clown springs to his defense and blames the other side for a situation (usually) of Trump's causing that he has found himself in and is (often) facing blowback for. Self-reflection much?

While, of course, Trump sleeps around in any direction.

"In the film’s most appalling scene, Trump is shown raping his first wife, Ivana, played by Maria Bakalova, during a fight. According to the 1993 book Lost Tycoon, Ivana made the rape accusation in a 1990 sworn divorce deposition. She later clarified her earlier statement, saying that she didn’t mean those words in “a literal or criminal sense”. She added, “As a woman, I felt violated.” Trump has denied the allegation. Ivana died in 2022."

'Ivana died in 2022'. She fell down the stairs in her Manhattan home. True.

Stephen 'OddJob' Cheung testified that Donald was playing golf with Stormy at the time. Not true ðŸĪŠ

Reuters - Trump says he had 'every right' to interfere in 2020 election

WASHINGTON, Sept 2 (Reuters) - Republican former U.S. President Donald Trump, who faces federal and state charges accusing him of trying to overturn his 2020 election loss to Democratic President Joe Biden, insists he had "every right" to interfere in that election.

"Whoever heard you get indicted for interfering with a presidential election where you have every right to do it?" Trump said in a Fox News interview that aired on Sunday. ...

In a statement on Monday, Harris' campaign said Trump's latest comments to Fox News and his previous remarks "make it clear that he believes he is above the law."

"Now, Trump is claiming he had 'every right' to interfere in the 2020 election. He did not."

https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/article/2024/sep/02/trump-hypocrisy-harris-pence

This is the absolute low of hypocrisy from the orange buffoon - Kamala was (supposedly) "mean" to Pence during their 2020 debate, however I guess saying your VP "deserves" to hang for not going along with your hairbrained election fraud scheme is a-ok 🙄

I can rightly see now why Pence declined to endorse Trump this year - I wouldn't have, either.

When your own Vice President won't endorse you despite loyalty to the party.

Then there are the members of your cabinet who won't support you.
Noting these are his fellow Republicans he selected.

The people closest to you.

You just rant on, as facts are a lot more than inconvenient.

Problem is, there are far more brown-nosers and fanatic loyalists to the orange buffoon in the Republican party than there should be. For every Mike Pence, there's at least two Ted Cruz's, if that makes sense.

In Trump's view, everyone who isn't 100% loyal is expendable and can be easily replaced. Sadly, the party seems to agree with that viewpoint.

However, one day Trump will be gone...what happens then?

He's always had Super Powers.

Super-Liar, Super-Fraudster, Super-Crook, Super-Swindler. Name any bad or negative human trait and Trump will have it...in spades.

Afterthought: Even if one accepts the dubious SCOTUS claim that interfering in a presidential election is a presidential power, how could this idiot have that right when he was no longer President?
